| Nice and beefy! I should have mentioned about mine that even though I got used to the placement, others complained initially. I ended up bending the pedal out, away from the engine. This was because when you're sitting on the machine, your feet aren't pointed straight up, but more out at an angle. Hopefully you don't have this ergonomic dilemma. | |

| About that Fire Extinguisher Muffler... I haven't gotten to finishing mine, so no post on that yet, but I do have a suggestion that may help out if you don't mind... From experience building silencers for MX bikes, I would use perforated metal for the core of the silencer and pack around it with fiberglass. I use this stuff from McMaster Carr and roll it into a tube for the core. Here's the LINK TO MCMASTER-CARRIt should sound awesome with that design! | |

| The "experts" will tell you that you need special fiberglass and have you buy their "special" fiberglass. I use free insulation from remodeling houses and just pack it in there good. They say the home insulation doesn't last as long, but I haven't noticed much difference as long as you pack it in pretty tight. | |
