1987 honda fourtrax foreman 4x4

Subject: 1987 honda fourtrax foreman 4x4 November 1st 2013, 11:53 pm

Does anyone have a wiring diagram or know we're to find one because I can't find one. I need to know if they have a regulator on them because my bike doesn't and has no spark. By the way it's a trx350 model

I don't have a diagram, but I can tell you this- the regulator does not affect the ignition system. You could have a wiring fault, cooked CDI, bad plug, bad coil, bad trigger... Lots of possibilities.

Basics first. Try another spark plug. Disconnect the kill switch right from the CDI. After that, you're into testing...

i got it for him doc. we did it in chat last night. i am a member on a honda forum where we have almost all honda manuals

I have tried a new stator, coil and spark plug. I'm thinking that it may be all in the key switch because one day I was driving and shut it off and it never fired back up. Plus my key sometimes doesn't work.

try hotwiring it then, if that starts it, then its in the ignition
