JD SX75 go-cart thingy

this is what it will look like, but with 19" tires in the back and 15" in the front, hopefully I can mock it up today.

got new engine mounting holes drilled, and am in the process of trying to mount 15" tires on it. so I took the plastic bushings out of the wheels and ground down the metal hub. still have about 0.050 to go , but I think it is worth the effort.

had to remount the engine, so with my favorite tool I made a precsion opening for the shaft



I ground down the hub on my front wheels so they fit on the shorter axle

*sniff sniff* I smell doughnuts :p its gonna be a doughnut mastah!

Im starting to really dig this thing, good job. Cant wait to see the rear tires on it

looks good, I really want a set of those rear tires, you gonna put any of the rear fender/shrouding back on? also are you planning on lowering the seat and steering wheel like stretch's?

Im seriously debating buying a r72 from my junkyard for a wheelie machine...

may resurect this thing! tried to put the tranny back together and put it in the thing agen (the stock one, not the mtd one) will be powered by a 3.5 hp briggs.

I've got two R70's in the driveway that I pulled the 700's out of and are ready for the CRUSHER.

my tranny is in, need an engine pulley. the tranny is very difficult to spin, especially the axles. i may have gotten some silicon in the case.

glad to see its not "dead" I used to have a tractor I put a 3.5 horse on, it was fun for cruising around on

I wouldn't think a lil silicon would make a transaxle hard to turn...

I'm sorry guys, but I got frusterated and the frame is in my truck and reddey to go to the scrapper. took the tranny out and the front axle, but the frame was flexing and I was tired of it.
