Ok.  So I got this gokart from a friend of mine about 3 years ago.  It was a single-wheel drive right from the motor to the tire.  I blew about two sets of new bearings out of the rear wheel then on the third set I exploded the hub that the sprocket and brakes go on.  Bummer right? Why not just get a new hub right? WRONG! The hubs aren't made anymore.  Project is a goner save it for later if someone else wants it. (note this was 3 yrs ago).  Now I am coming back to this.  I will take a differential out of a RER mower that {had} a peerless 700, will make axles right length and will make that fit on my gokart.  All I really need to do is get a rear-axle set-up and move the motor to the right side of the frame.

This is for the gokart guys
I don't know what kind of kart it is, I found a sticker on the floor-boards but got to scrape the paint off to get to it.  It would save me the trouble if someone could give me a name of what brand it is.

If it was me, id chop it.... Then again thats why i shouldnt be allowed around go karts Smile Stab it up on DIYGK and they'll figure out what it is i bet.

Tough one. I see elements that suggest it could be an old Carter, but there was a lot of design-stealing going on back then ( early-mid '80s I think. Seeing the pedals might help.

Red is correct in that putting it up on DIY go karts would get a better chance at a positive ID.

Yeah doc.. It didn't have pedals when I got it.  The friend that I got it from had problems with his legs and he had a hand throttle and hand brake on it.  I will put it up on diygk.  I looked on Google and there's alot of different kinds that look the same.

It was intended for me to just rip around. But here is an update picture. This was taken a little bit ago and it hasn't moved since. I took the motor off and stored it back by my old tractor in my trailer.

I spy with my little eye, and old, retired, worn-out, gokart... Sad
