Soooo ..... still not sure if I'm building a USLMRA certified prepared chassis racer, or a full on custom mini rock crawler with 4 link suspension. Either way I have a vanny 18 (currently stock) to power this build. If I go with rock crawler the frame and sub frame will all be custom, and yes ... I'll make sure the frame falls into the "ladder" category per the rules. If I go racer then I have a stripped down mtd box chassis and frame to work with. Either way it goes ... most of this build will be custom metal work, a lot of welding .... and a HUGE MIGRAINE! In the end it will be fun and worth it. Since I can build the racer with my eyes closed, and I really am craving a challenge ....
DECIDED!!!! ROCK CRAWLER IT IS!!!!

I'm still trying to wrap my head around 4wd with a vanny. I'm def doing 4 link suspension, so probably going to machine an adapter for a couple RAGBs to achieve the transfer from belt driven driveline to shaft driven axles.
It's fitting brother! Bawhahahaha!!! This thing is going to give me pure hell. Bout time I had a good challenge!
Be careful what you wish for. I'm STILL freebasing Xanax after the Weasel experience. LOL
Dead!!!

Ok guys.... this has to be put on the back burner. I got too much going on right now to custom fab this. I'm leaving the thread here in case I get this done before the end of the contest. That being said .... I had a USLMRA GP class racer build fall into my shop, so I entered it. BAwhahahaha!!! I will post progress of both, but with the shop picking up, being full time daddy, getting married, and this GP build ... the Huge Migraine has to take a backseat.

I understand man! You appear to have a full plate, just remember to stop take a breath and have a little fun. (I bet that racer will be fun!)
Oh yeah ... plate's full and then some. Good advice too. That's probably one of my biggest stress inducing quirks ... not stopping to breathe and enjoy things. Good thing about switching builds ... This one will be completed in 2 months.
