| Well today I took a shot at something I've been wanting to try for a while now, involving my homemade adjustable lift hitch. The adjustment part was always super nice, but in order to adjust it I had to unhook the upper pivot and thread it up or down on the lift link. That was always a bit of a pain, haha. So I did some cutting and welding, and ended up with a joint at the bottom of the lift link to allow it to rotate 360° Then I made up a quick crank handle to mount on top and presto! Now all I gotta do to adjust 'er is wind the handle over! Here's with the lift linke screwed down all the way: Then with it up all the way: As you can see it allow for quite a bit of adjustment! Tried it out with the disk hooked up too: Works great! A lot quicker to adjust it than before. I also found out I can adjust it while sitting on the tractor, which I didn't plan on but I'm sure glad it worked out that way! Haha. Let me know what ya think! | |

| Little more tinkering with the lift hitch yesterday. I decided that since I'm happy with the way it works, it would be a good time to throw some paint on it. Wasn't a super professional job or anything, I just took it all apart and wire wheeled the whole deal. Individual parts all painted up: Looks much better! Pretty nice, I'm sure it'll be all scratched up in no time, but for the time being it looks pretty good! Haha.
