Allis-Chalmers B-110

Well today I took a shot at something I've been wanting to try for a while now, involving my homemade adjustable lift hitch.
The adjustment part was always super nice, but in order to adjust it I had to unhook the upper pivot and thread it up or down on the lift link. That was always a bit of a pain, haha.

So I did some cutting and welding, and ended up with a joint at the bottom of the lift link to allow it to rotate 360°



Then I made up a quick crank handle to mount on top and presto! Now all I gotta do to adjust 'er is wind the handle over!

As you can see it allow for quite a bit of adjustment!

Tried it out with the disk hooked up too:



Works great! A lot quicker to adjust it than before. I also found out I can adjust it while sitting on the tractor, which I didn't plan on but I'm sure glad it worked out that way! Haha.

Little more tinkering with the lift hitch yesterday.



I decided that since I'm happy with the way it works, it would be a good time to throw some paint on it.

Wasn't a super professional job or anything, I just took it all apart and wire wheeled the whole deal.

Pretty nice, I'm sure it'll be all scratched up in no time, but for the time being it looks pretty good! Haha.
