| Well today I took a shot at something I've been wanting to try for a while now, involving my homemade adjustable lift hitch. The adjustment part was always super nice, but in order to adjust it I had to unhook the upper pivot and thread it up or down on the lift link. That was always a bit of a pain, haha. So I did some cutting and welding, and ended up with a joint at the bottom of the lift link to allow it to rotate 360° ![Allis-Chalmers B-110 - Page 5 20190710](https://i.servimg.com/u/f63/19/81/54/58/20190710.jpg) Then I made up a quick crank handle to mount on top and presto! Now all I gotta do to adjust 'er is wind the handle over! Here's with the lift linke screwed down all the way: ![Allis-Chalmers B-110 - Page 5 20190712](https://i.servimg.com/u/f63/19/81/54/58/20190712.jpg) Then with it up all the way: ![Allis-Chalmers B-110 - Page 5 20190711](https://i.servimg.com/u/f63/19/81/54/58/20190711.jpg) As you can see it allow for quite a bit of adjustment! Tried it out with the disk hooked up too: ![Allis-Chalmers B-110 - Page 5 20190713](https://i.servimg.com/u/f63/19/81/54/58/20190713.jpg) Works great! A lot quicker to adjust it than before. I also found out I can adjust it while sitting on the tractor, which I didn't plan on but I'm sure glad it worked out that way! Haha. Let me know what ya think! | |

| Little more tinkering with the lift hitch yesterday. ![Allis-Chalmers B-110 - Page 5 20190843](https://i.servimg.com/u/f63/19/81/54/58/20190843.jpg) I decided that since I'm happy with the way it works, it would be a good time to throw some paint on it. Wasn't a super professional job or anything, I just took it all apart and wire wheeled the whole deal. Individual parts all painted up: ![Allis-Chalmers B-110 - Page 5 20190844](https://i.servimg.com/u/f63/19/81/54/58/20190844.jpg) Looks much better! ![Allis-Chalmers B-110 - Page 5 20190845](https://i.servimg.com/u/f63/19/81/54/58/20190845.jpg) Pretty nice, I'm sure it'll be all scratched up in no time, but for the time being it looks pretty good! Haha. ![](https://i.servimg.com/u/f86/19/98/54/71/separa13.png) "This'll either wake you up or put you to sleep forever!"- Red Green "Whatever you do you should do right, even if it's something wrong." - Hank Hill - MTD Off-Road Build - Ford LT 110 Off-Road Build - Craftsman GT 6000 Off-Road Build - Sears LT11 Rat Rod Build *2019 Build-Off Winner!* Garden Tractor Collection: Allis B-110 x2, 710, 716, & 410 - Wheel Horse 655, 953 & 500 Special - Case 444 - Bolens Versamatic, G10 & 1668 Diesel Swapped - Cub 106, 124 & 1000/149 Frankentractor - Ford 120, LGT 125 & 145 - White 1650 Yard Boss - Moto Mower 710-100 | |
