| Oh yeah, that happens to me on a weekly basis. I live near Fort Hood, which is the biggest military base in all the 50 states. | |

| Those are some big words.... I've heard the same from one of our supported sites at work. Ft Bragg, NC. Then again its all about the right numbers of what when you talk about it. | |

| Wikipedia says that Ft. Hood has the highest population of any military base in the world, and the highest area of land of any base in all the 50 states (coming in at 214,000 acres) and is almost the biggest base in the world, only behind US military embassies. | |

| We used to live about 10 miles from here and heard less than half of the action we hear now. In the old house we had something like a F-105 Thundercheif miss the top of the cabin by about 10-20 feet. Probably the loudest thing I've ever heard besides seriously flooded riding mowers backfiring and Monster Jam trucks. Now we have an air ambulance fly over EVERY NIGHT in this house. | |

| I remember a few times being out in a pasture after dark, and this helicopter goes over shining a spotlight all over the place. Only once did I actually know what it was, a few months ago the only gas station within a 40 mile radius (Happens to be 5 miles from me) got held up by a guy who escaped in a stolen vehicle (all he took was a few cases of Shiner Bock, LOL), then broke into someone's deer blind, stole a bunch of ammo, then broke into a guys house and stole a pistol. Pretty crazy to think it all happened within miles of me. They did catch him like 3 days later. | |

| I went to a high school for training in the aviation field. Next to an airport that had the yearly air show at the beginning of the school year. We would cut class to watch them practice. Right on the flight line and runway. One of those years they had the Su-27 Russian built jets flying. Amazing what they can do. They did the famous Cobra, just amazing seeing it with your own eyes. Some students get to go help on the flight line, refueling and stuff like that. They got to meet the Russian pilots over diner with them. The stories were pretty cool. | |

| I seen a Sears ST12, and some kind of old Wheel horse at the scrap yard today... I couldnt save either of them. I could have used a bunch of parts from the ST12 for my SS16. The heavy duty deck was there too, along with a snow blower. There was 2 snow blowers that might have fit the wheel horse too. People disgust me. {EDIT} Hey! Theres a Ramcharger or Trailduster in your 2nd pic there MurryMountain! I want one! | |

| Too bad you couldn't get 'em. In that pic the Ramcharger had the front end out of it, but it's all put back together now. I didn't really care about it then, but now that he put the new tires on it, I really want it. Here's that same Ramcharger now... | |

| Id like a older one myself, mid 70s. Less emissions garbage, and removable top. Be great fun to have a set of half doors for it too. Swap em out in the summer and take the roof off. | |

| Ahh, you want a real nice one. I like the orange one just because of the rugged NC mountain look. All it needs is a glass pack. That is, if it doesn't already have one. Looks like you'd rather take yours to car shows and cruises instead of on the trails. | |

| Yeah, I would prefer a nicer one, not necessarily a show truck though. good body, clean interior and nice paint on it.
Even one that was a bit beat up, as long as it wasnt rusted out too bad, that would make for a good project truck. I wouldnt feel bad about doing some engine/trans swaps.
The removable top I think would be nice. Though, they are a pain to put back on and get to seal again.
Ive seen a few 80s Ramchargers that dont look too bad Id be ok with one, just a matter of finding one closer to me.

Haha! Me too. @MightyRaze I know that. I tried to change the color of the link to blue but since I've already visited all those threads, I don't know if it worked or not. And does my profile say anything about "2019 Build-off Participant" on your side? There's nothing on mine...
