Craftsman and Murray (and their other brand cousins) used the 820 in some of their heavier applications if you try scrap yards. Look for 12 inch tires and 1 inch axles with the 5/6 speed fender/tunnel shifter.
Typically looks like:
Here are what they typically look like. Unless I am mistaken, Murray has a long/tall shift shaft and craftsman shorter?
PROJECTS: Marshal ........................93 Craftsman GT6000 Red Bandit ...................72 Wheel Horse Raider 12 Dirty Rat........................77 Sears Suburban Bowser...........................01 Murray Widebody LT The Green Machine ....1990 Craftsman II GT18 Other projects
Murrays are also typically 5 speeds, with a 5/8 input shaft. If that’s ALL you can find, run with it. The craftsman variant is usually a 6 speed, so it has much better ratios, plus has a 3/4 inch input shaft.
The murray shifter is tall and the craftsman is the standard short shaft shift style, as @mightyraze said
