So i got this moter from my grandpa cause he had to put a new engine on his GT5000 (this one needed rings) and i am finaly re-building it But when i tore the engine apart i found a lot of metal shavings in the oil and then i took the rod caps of and the crank and rods are trashed so i figured "screw it imma stroke and cam it while im rebuilding it then imma throw it in my gasser" ill try to get some pics posted latter today. https://www.arcracing.com/search.php?page=5§ion=product&search_query=Vtwin%20stroker

Unless you're set on using ARC parts you may be able to make it a stroker with factory parts, I've seen it done in posts around here, I guess it would depend on what engine you're starting with though...
Research my man, dig into the B&S engine archives and also use the search function. Alternately you can try and dig up specs for engines of the same family, they tend to use the same block with (sometimes) different bores and often different strokes of crankshaft.
Can you post the model/code/serial of your engine? I'd be willing to do some research also when I have spare time.
also is there any chance you could get a link to the people that stroked them with the factory parts? i might have the parts to do that i have several dead v twins

Depends on the age of ot really, being a vtwin it's probably a printed label on the fan shroud or fuel tank. On older Briggs it's stamped into the fan shroud

It should be on the rocker cover, that's what the guys at the parts store always ask for?
