Someone was interested in my two seater. This is a picture before it was finished. It has a 12 HP Briggs engine with and MTD variable speed pulley setup. Finished car here. We drive it almost every day around our place in the hills of Tennessee

How much does it weigh? A lot! This one is solid oak which is heavy but also strong. I would guess the car with out the riders would be in the 350 pound range. I know I cannot pick up even the front end, I have to use a hoist. I tell people it will go anywhere I can get traction. I thought about locking the differential but decided I didn't want to loose the steering ability. The ground clearance is not all that great either. I will run out and take some more pictures and post them in the next day or so.

Did you extend the rear axles to make it wider if so may i ask how? Have you thought to pulley swap it and speed it up a lil maybe 10 mph to git around quicker.

Sorry, I left the picture of the axle extension out. I purchased heavy wall tube. 3/4 ID - 1-1/4 OD to make a splice on each end of the shaft coming out of the trans-axle. I installed an additional 3/4 inch roller bearing next to each wheel.

Very nice build there, and Welcome. My grandfather is a wood worker too. He helped me make my oak sides for my truck bed. Looks like the same wood. Very stout for sure. Definitely the alternative to welding. PS, I scooted your second post into your build post so it doesn't clutter up stuff, and also to make it easier for folks to find you build pictures. Just post additional pictures and other stuff related to your build in here.
