It is. The switch just isnt up to par though, i need something more reliable. If I get a normal toggle ill get a small LED light to put above it or something and out it inline with the fuel solenoid.

I cant believe it is. I thought the carb would have crapped up or the gas would have gone bad but it runs just as good as when I parked it. Major luck.

New front rims rims with bearings

If you swap in the Oppy and don't want your V-Twin exhaust, you can send it to me.  

I still want it lol. Im not sure if I wanna put the 16 oppy on here and put this engine on the Gravely, or keep this one on and put the 16 on the Gravely.

So while I am working on the Rv2, I am kind of refinishing this. A lot of stuff is worn or not working right, so I figured I could work on this when I have the time and hopefully finish both in time to go upstate.

Anyways, remember that stupid LED toggle that never worked? Well I ordered a replacement: an LED. This will allow me to still be able to see when the fuel solenoid is activated, while using a normal toggle. Not sure where itll go, but I can decide that after I swap the dash out.

As youre all aware, I entered into this years build-off in hopes of building its successor. Well I bit off a bit too much and it had problems since day 1. SO, RV2 will be donating its body to upgrading this bad boy.

Fenders off.



Leaking oil from somewhere. Will have to take a look.



206 is out.



Fenders off the RV2 and up on sawhorses.



820 is out.



Putting in new seals. Hopefully it wont leak like no tomorrow.

It was doing that BS mist stuff thats wet enough to be rain but not rain thing today so everything was wet. Pulled it in to the garage so I could start doing stuff.



Got the trans all put back together again, with the new seals. They fit much tighter.



Got some stuff ill probably not use. Bearing bore is oversized. Got some 5/8 round stock, sleeve bushings are for the steering shaft.



Gas lines, electrical, and all panels are off. Gonna get new electrical and fuel lines.



Old "repair". Was oversized, and ended up being wleded on crooked. Bushings fit TIGHT. Should be a perfect weld.



The arm on the deck lever should work great for the brake.



Sandblasted and painted the pulley and shift arm so it doesnt rust to hell.

Ride vidya:



Works great! I did notice today, 2 days after my ride, there is still gear lube leakage. I dont know but it may have water contamination. Not nearly as bad as the old seals though. I also ate through a fuel line, so im thinking of running steel since its more static than rubber.



Checklist for the next ride:

Brake actuator arm needs to be fastened better, the nut vibrated off.

Need to add my 12v socket.

Headlights are on the way.

Need a rack. Trailer is too inconvenient.

Clutch stop. Clutch pulley hits drive pulley when full clutch.

Need to look at throttle. Cable needs tightened or something but I know I can get some more throttle out of it.

Also looking at doing a new exhaust (or modifying the existing), and doing a snorkel. I like the sound of the straight pipe, but I need a muffler. Maybe a selective exhaust like TheRainbowBoxer has. Probably not.

Truly- there's nothing more horribly catastrophic than having one or more of your nuts vibrate off.

exhaust- find cheap muffler, gut it. quiet, yet rumbly. maybe leave ONE baffle in.
no offence, but that trailer truly is a terrible idea for trail romps and mud. in mud, it will just sink and be dead weight. a rack will suit much better

I was thinking something like this: http://www.tractorsupply.com/en/store/muffler-ford-mfg-fo-14 . Im planning on redoing the exhaust, but keeping this one for just in case. Probably do a stack to go with the snorkel.
