Hi i have a david bradley super 5.6 and it has the original tractor tread tires on it (the ones that look somewhat like arrows) and i was wondering, which direction should i mount them to get the most traction in snow? Looking down at the top of the tires Arrows pointing forward or pointing backwards?

Normally with the "arrows" pointing forward on the top of the wheel. (pointing rearward on the underside tof the wheel obviously). Sounds like the tires are agricultural type? Like the center tread on my tires?

Chevrons go forward.

Chains will help a lot. What is your front tire setup?

Another very helpful tip is to lock the rear axle. Chains help a lot. Rear weight. I'd say ag tires.

I'm very surprised at how well mine plows snow. Solid rear axle, ag's, and some weight from the rear bumper. I've got some chains, but haven't needed them.
