Any Help figuring out what this is?

found this local to me and was wondering what in the heck it is. obviously a craftsman ii but a 14hp vanguard and 46" cut doesnt exist and plus i can even find another one like it. would it make a good off roader? any help would be great thanks

the only thing i can find that has the same hood is a murray 18/46 but thats it.

Looks like a murray frame too, with the one piece with the frame running boards and rear fenders. They're kinda light duty I guess but you can always beef it up a bit if you have problems.

It must be a higher end model if its got a Vanny V-twin in it I would think. $50 for that tractor and a push mower is a steal!

It obviously exists, but very uncommon. The Sears it was sold at could have specifically requested it.

It also appears to have the good Craftsman front axle in it.

I missed it. Sounded like the Sears line made by Murray instead of AYP. Not sure why sears had 2 different lines that did the same thing. Not some sound business decisions down the line. Probably part of their problem today.
