| This guys ahead of the game! Insane FXT racing mower. guy has to have over 10k in it. Looks like he cut a stock manifold up and tig welded it together. | |

| Ooh- Tillitson carbs!!!
Also- I think the engine was done for him, or something. Look at that upper steering hoop. The same guy did the engine? I have my doubts.
I'm also not sure why someone would go all out on an engine build, only to use hunks of the crappy, stock intake manifold. not exactly smooth inside, and doesn't look the greatest on the outside. All for want of a couple 90° bent tubes?

| He's after high rpm with fast throttle response. Short runners are good for that. I'm sure those intakes are ported and polished on the insides. A lot of aluminum there to shape the insides to where he wants to. Simple but effective. | |

I'm all for simple but effective. But nothing else on that is simple. I just fail to understand why new tubing wasn't used. Not saying there wasn't necessarily a good reason, I just don't see that reason.

| Yah, I couldn't say why exactly. I would have went with fresh tubing too, just because of the tubing being smooth inside. | |
