nice rear rack! Y not mounting the grill itself on the rear so U could store stuff safely in there without losing it when U romp over roots & other stuff?

the grill is cast iron making it both brittle and i cant weld to it, and it had a broken out glass window do deal with on top of not being that wide. i chucked the grill out.

thought it was just stamped steel. yeah such a heavy cast iron brick in the back is pretty useless on a mower...

while spending time laying in bed today i figured out how im going to make dinkys wheels stick to the axle even if my welds have penetration issues. kinda similar to fords front axle fix
the green things are large washers so like before i plan on having a mechanical connection that the welds are more to help hold in place, but not actually do the work

i would like to add i was getting the jerking i get when my trans is loose(it was) but it wasnt only problem. my welds failed on 1 wheel and part of the axle snapped. but thoes washers i welded in were keeping the wheel on and from rotating arround the shaft more than a few deg. so i put my welder on 2 high and set that wire speed all the way up to 7. i never used it that high. but it looks like it had better penatration that way. wire is expensive so i never set speed above 6.

update: dinky has lost 2 trans bolts, and riped up the frame a bit were a bolt monts. my wleded on rims makes it super hard to get to bolts.... and i used stop nuts.
the rear bumper with a chair crushon makes a good rear seat, but if you are to hard on cluch bumper scraps the ground when you take off.
and i tried swapping my agg to my bent up wheel barrel rim with inner tube. i destroyed it getting it on. so i cut a hole in the inner tube removing the vavle stem, put in a tubeless stem, and are JB wleding the hell out of the bead till it works then tire slime.. im 2 1/3 tubes deep right now.

if dinky were on stock wheels theres one that would have been a dead stop wreck. theres a big rock in that grass i scrape my front axle on.

naw, the frame twist aint a big problem, the trans mounts breaking are. and i need to reenfoce them... if only i could get wheels off easily... but i cant.

Trans mounts break pretty generally because of frame twist.

then buy some 3/4" hubs with 4 bolt pattern & matching rims & put them AGs on the new rims & scrap the welded rims & mount the Hubs on the Trans, even if U weld the hubs on U can easily access the mounts
