| Nice power upgrade. Are you sure that both engines turn the same way? | |

| If I had to guess the belt needs a twist in it to change direction of rotation on the input shaft. Did the tractor have a belt when you got it? | |

| Looks to be the same orientation as my tractor Kal's.
Edit: That is NOT how my mower's belt is ran. Looks to be running the transaxle the wrong way. I will edit or post that belt diagram soon.

| I think I finally figured this out he put a twist in the belt that is not supposed to be there. The belt coming from the trans pulley needs to route to his clutch pulley. He twisted the belt which you can see in those pictures so the belt is coming from the trans idler pulley and going to the clutch pulley which reverses directions. Took some staring at his pictures and this diagram to figure this out but luckily this should be an easy fix. that’s a great diagram @MightyRaze | |

| @Crazy_Carl @MightyRaze thanks guys ya it ended up I had to 180 the belt on the trans, from clutch to top of transaxle pulley not the other way, I laugh hard when I went to test it and almost reversed into my truck. because so use to pushing in the clutch with the left foot I slammed on the gas instead | |

| Drain is on bottom. You can see it in this pic of yours. Between that plug and the shifter should be another plug. Unfortunately that I believe is the fill hole. 2300 64 oz./1892 ml 80W90 Oil | |

| @MightyRaze lol yes but there is no fill plug, I was just wondering if you fill it from the shifter, I used to to that with older trucks it was easier just seeing if this is the same | |

| I'd use the shifter hole. How hard is it to access?
When I locked the rear end in ol red I never even took the fill plug out. I filled if through the shifter hole so I could squeeze the bottle of gear lube to get the oil in in seconds instead of an hour. However the trans was outside of the tractor when I did this. | |

| I'm up in the Air with this tractor, i don't like the frame on it and the front has to be redone. i have it up for sale but really no bites only crappy trades. I might just strip it keep the engine and that sweet heavy duty transaxle | |

| Yeah that's the thing with these. You've got a great trans and a motor. The rest of the tractor is thin stamped parts. Not very appealing. I would just part it out. | |

| Just coming across this thread, that's a nice tractor you got there. At least engine and trans wise. If you do part it out, you should keep that cool hood and put it on a craftsman or something. That could be cool. | |

| @Crazy_Carl @RichieRichOverdrive Y i think that's the plan, its hard to sell tractors here on the east coast of Canada, i have a guy wanting to trade a 196cc mini bike for it but i really don't need it. i rather sell it and use the money for parts or another 76 sears 16hp suburban | |
