| VERY VERY VERY RARE!! Never seen a 633A Mower in WHOLE GERMANY before!!! Thats why I jumped right on it! Here it is! its a AYP, rebranded as VIKING here, & the pre owner repainted it & threw a chinese honda clone 6,5HP in, but sold it with no engine to me & renamed it ,,the small blue" My plans are: -fully rebuilding the 633A -frame reinforcing -repaint -LED lights -NEW TIRES -DIESEL ENGINE! -Hood Swap 4 A old Dynamark hood -new seat -custom exhaust that build will eat up ALL MY MONEY!! But rolling coal on Treehuggers will pay it off! | |

| Dang I love those hoods! I've always wanted one of those tractors. I'd never do a hood swap on one of those. Diesel sounds awesome! Especially without an old Dynamark hood. | |

| You'll likely have trouble fitting a tall diesel under a dynamark hood. It'll be like me fitting the big Kohler V twin under the Craftsman LT hood on the GT6K. | |

it had a horizontal in it with the crank facing to the grill! I want to delete the belt twist! - Murraymountain wrote:

Diesel sounds awesome! Especially without an old Dynamark hood. how would U love that ugly plastic hood? - RichieRichOverdrive wrote:

the Dynamark hood just needs to be spaced out 4" up & that free space might see a Winch

| Yep, space it up. Don't cut on a nice dynamark hood. I might use the extra room on mine for a winch. Although I've got a long way to go before i do anything like that | |

| Seb to be honest, plastic or not, that's my favorite GT hood ever. I might like it even more than any LT hood too. I don't like the blue though. My favorite version of that hood is the Roper version... | |

| I don't think craftsman ever made a good gt hood honestly. Big boxy hoods with lots of open space on the inside are a waste and are easily bashed up.
So this diesel Seb... Do you have it?

| That's the main reason I like it! Big, boxy and mean looking. If you know me then you know I love cars and tractors from the 80's. And they're all boxy.
I would prefer steel, but plastic or not, I still love it.

I wo'nt cut the Grill, only the hood since its bent & has a few cracks n stuff & i have 2 of them or just make my own metal part. Winch isnt really planned, just would fit in there pretty good! - Murraymountain wrote:

dunno yet if I will do you a favor & keep the hood, depends on how much work the hood swap would be! I dont really like that look but we'll see whats happening with it! - RichieRichOverdrive wrote:

So this diesel Seb... Do you have it? I love these Squarebody Hoods like the Craftsman Version of mine had! Wish i could get my hands on 1 of them! With a bumper it would be well protected! I'm buying that Diesel right when I start working on it! Maybe even this Year! - mr.modified wrote:
- Plastic is good, nice and light. Pretty beefy looking machine. It looks huge!
Plastic is lightweight, but NOT RELIABLE & ages very quickly! Yeah its pretty big compared to my other mowers! THX! - Murraymountain wrote:

| If YOU don't like the look then go ahead and change it. It's your build, not mine. That's just what I would do. And I didn't mention it but yeah, as you said, those hoods really aren't any good without a brush guard. | |

havent decided yet, kinda thinking about just buying the Diesel to force myself to work on it cuz otherwise it might end up like all the other crap & just piles up on my property!
