Gday to all, thought I would give you all a good belly laugh and show another of my Mini projects, I built this bike from a frame up, it's a custom built Honda z50 gorilla, it's rocking a bit of fruit and looks nothing like it should, turns heads where ever I go and it also puts one hell of a smile on my dial when I ride it. Here is a piccy of me riding it in the last Christmas toy run we had. Enjoy!!!!

That looks like a cool little ride! Do you know what kinda speed she'll hit?

It will do 100km an hour comfortably, 110 is about it's limit, which is the open highway speed limit here. Peels your lips back getting there though, it's a 150cc 4 speed manual now also.

That's pretty cool! I visited Adelaide Australia a couple times recently and noticed that there were mini bikes registered for the road. Here in the united states, there are a couple states where you can do that but for the most part it's a big hassle. What are the laws like for them? Don't you have to have some sort of title to register it? Here the biggest issue is getting a title or some paperwork to use. Do you have some sort of home built paperwork?

Gday mate, not any mini bike can be registered in Australia, it is quite a hassle unless you use a honda z50 "compliance" model, which means it was designed for road use, this is actually a 1976 frame that I started with of a previously registered bike. Registration here is basically having a title for it. to title a new build is a very big hassle and not worth the $$ in the end. There are limits to stay in also otherwise it's deemed modified and then requires about the same cost as getting a title for a new build.
