I got my learner's permit recently! Once I get my license the lt1000 will become an offroad focused build (I think) Speaking of jeeps I am getting a TJ that has sat for a while. Its wiring harness is currently sitting in the passenger seat. The interior is in pieces so its gonna be fun getting it back together and running

Made by, Mo’ parts.
Old Fords were eons better than what they have now, the new stuff is awful ever since they did away with the 300.
Dodge is "Dang Old Dirty Gas Eater"

I’d like to ask you to be careful with the phrasing of the last word. I don’t take offense to it, growing up with a perpendicular label applied in educational settings that caused some issues and I know a lot of people that had it real bad. It’s kinda aged poorly these last few years.

Most of the big generac v twins you see swapped in mowers are converted from propane. All you really have to do with them is throw a carb on. They usually make a ton of power as they have higher compression ratios than gas engines.
@RichieRichOverdrive but with it having a higher compression ratio doesn't that mean I need to run a higher octane gas? Also where would I have to find a pulley to fit that tapered shaft? and do I have to run a specialized oil in it? The information I have found on these makes it look dang near impossible to switch over, And the people that have done it don't put a lot of information out on how they did, any help is appreciated

They will run on pump gas but 100LL is preferred, runs cooler and is less likely to foul plugs. If you have the generator head you can usually make an adapter from it. Some guys do get them machined though. For oil I think valvoline VR1 zinc additive oil is a good idea. Really it’s ideal for all flat tappet engines you find in mowers.
If you have Facebook you can message George Irwin, he’s pretty much the generac expert lol.
@RichieRichOverdrive Thanks man that was super helpful, I have the generator head and my uncle has a mud truck shop and I think he might have the stuff to turn it into a Straight Shaft
