built an exhaust today out of a school chair leg, an old Tecumseh muffler, a washer, and some exhaust tubing.
Cut the Tec muffler off before the pepper shaker muffler and used the header bend and flange, cut and welded the chair leg to it. Pushed a 3/4" washer as far up as it would go on the taper and welded that there. Cross drilled the remainder of the chair leg and welded the exhaust tubing turnout over that. Sounds pretty cool. Ran out of gas though  Rolling Eyes  so I'll know more after I fill it up and ride it some.

This looks sweet!

Hows it sound? I think if you cut the chair leg flush with the washer it would have resonated more, but im not sure since my resonation chamber is like 2' long.
