tecumseh hh spark issues

i brought home a sears 10xl a couple days ago with no spark i cleaned the pegs on the flywheel and it fired right up if you have a tecumseh with no spark from sitting try this tip first it could save you alot of money headache and you can keep your good reliable tecumseh

Nice! By pegs do you mean the magnets on the flywheel? If it's a solid state ignition engine it won't run with a rusty magnet or coil pickup. Got any pics of the ol' Sears?

the little round trigger pegs the ones that are on the flywheel but no not right now i dont have a pic
