I just picked up a $150 garbage rod a few weeks ago. Unfortunately Bubba did things to the bolt handle Been counterbored too, probably gona shoot like poop but I got to get some more ammo before i find out.

@RichieRichOverdrive I had all my parts shipped right to the house just had to get my mom to get the receiver from ffl ( even though I'm 35 ) no problem at all. Maybe took 30 minutes longest part was just assembling it after that

If it wasn't such a PITA, long drawn out process up here I'm sure I'd own a rifle or 2, I'm not into hunting but love target practice at the gun range! Not sure where the targets to prove it are but on one of my best days I put I think 22 of 25 shots on paper at 100 yards through the iron site of a Ruger 10-22, 18 of which where within the actual target. As a novice I was pretty proud of that!
@TechnoChicken it's not the money it's the principle lol @Brianator man that's steady I have a 1934 bolt action 22 I split playing cards with although that is about 20 yards or so

Anyone want to see my $12 pistol. I fixed a ejecter on a friend's marlin 22 mag and he paid me with a parts pistol. I thought I got the short end of the stick on the deal the gun was totaled out. bent frame. Magazine lock broke. All of the guns finish was gone. He threw it at a tree because it didn't shoot. I'm telling you this gun was bad but it turns out High Point for as ugly as they are offer a lifetime warranty all I had to pay was shipping and they gave me a brand new pistol

There may or may not be a Hellcat 9 on my hip at all times, but thats it. Everything else was lost in an unfortunate boating accident. I did manage to save the 870, .58cal Civil War musket and a couple other traditional muzzle loaders before it went down. Was a very sad day.
