sounds neat! Ill try myself on a articulating front axle 4X4 that can run FWD, RWD, 4X4 when my bud bought the woods beater off me cuz I need cash pretty bad

| Yeah, once your there (not that I'm speaking from experience), just build something totally ridiculous and stupid that do not need. Race or street mower, a lifted mower, heck maybe even a 4x4 AWS street machine with air suspension, brass rods and all that. I just pulled that off the top of my head, that's how you come up with new projects. The first thing you think of. Or, go on a rally or romp or something. That's what I'd do if I was in your place. | |

| Come to haspin and I bet you’ll have some motivation for a low fast “rally” machine that handles well at speed but can also trail ride. That’s what happened with me lol. I basically completely stopped caring about every other mower I had because I realized they all sucked lol. I think I’m doing better with this one | |

| Haha, you must’ve looked at my other projects. My brothers craftsman has electric start. I’m trying to figure out exactly where I want the fuel tank and battery. Plans have changed slightly on those | |

| Thing is I don't like building crazy stuff. I like building functional stuff.
Also i would've built suspension several times over if i ever had shocks or springs. It's been hard to come across them here.
Also I'm fairly certain mutt will handle anything haspin has lol. Maybe next year I'll bring her up there.

| Well apparently the coil in my ol' Bolens is dead for sure, she lost spark after the last time I had it running and has been sitting ever since. But I got the idea to try and bypass the coil under the flywheel and run it off 12v ignition instead to see if I could get 'er to talk to me. Low and behold after I wired everything up she had good spark again and took off on the first pull of the rope!! Obviously it looks quite goofy with the battery out front, but she runs and that's all I care about! I was even able to plow up and disk a small section of ground next to the shed: Definitely needs some carb tweaking yet, but that little K160 made real easy work of plowing that ground, haha. It was so cool to be able to put 'er back to work after all these years!! _______________________________________________ "This'll either wake you up or put you to sleep forever!"- Red Green "Whatever you do you should do right, even if it's something wrong." - Hank Hill - MTD Off-Road Build - Ford LT 110 Off-Road Build - Craftsman GT 6000 Off-Road Build - Sears LT11 Rat Rod Build *2019 Build-Off Winner!* - Allis B-110 x2, 710 & 716 - Wheel Horse 655, 953 & 500 Special - Case 444 - Bolens Versamatic & 1668 - Cub 106 & 124 - Ford LGT 125 & 145 - White 1650 Yard Boss | |

| Had 'er running again this morning.... Just tinkering, trying to get the ol' carb tuned in. | Thanks Rich! Yeah she's a sweet old unit, haha.
I'm thinking about getting out of those little batteries for the breakaway on a trailer to put on the frame on it somewhere, as they're quite small and compact. That way I can do away with the setup out front, haha. _______________________________________________ "This'll either wake you up or put you to sleep forever!"- Red Green "Whatever you do you should do right, even if it's something wrong." - Hank Hill - MTD Off-Road Build - Ford LT 110 Off-Road Build - Craftsman GT 6000 Off-Road Build - Sears LT11 Rat Rod Build *2019 Build-Off Winner!* - Allis B-110 x2, 710 & 716 - Wheel Horse 655, 953 & 500 Special - Case 444 - Bolens Versamatic & 1668 - Cub 106 & 124 - Ford LGT 125 & 145 - White 1650 Yard Boss

| While we're on the topic of garden tractors... Not sure if I ever mentioned it here, but a number of weeks ago I had an issue with my Case when the hydraulic motor blew the main seal and pumped all the oil into the rear end, which blew out the breather and made a real mess. It has also wrecked a bushing and snap ring at somepoint. So she's been out of comission for quite some time now while I fixed it and waited for the right parts to come in. However, last night I got the hydraulic motor all fixed and re-assembled, put it back into the rear end, hooked up the lines, and fired 'er up! Happy to report that as of today she's driving great again and the hydraulic motor showed no signs of any issues whatsoever! Great to see it out of the garage finally, haha.

| Nice update on the Allis, Allis! Been a minute since we’ve seen it. How difficult was it to rebuild the motor? | |

| Might wanna look at the name on the hood again CQ.. Haha, thanks man! The hydraulic motor wasn't too difficult to assemble, mine is the simplest one of the three designs they used over the years, but still a bit complex. I pretty much just had to follow the manual and make sure I kept all the parts SUPER clean and it wasn't bad! Getting the new main seal in was a bit of a bugger, but I got it and the new bushing seated nicely after some trying. Oh, and a bit of holding my tongue right of course.

| So walking out of Tractor Supply, getting some parts for the Swisher, I noticed this Husqvarna 440 sitting next to the door with a tag on it that said, "Reduced". So I looked at it, it said $300, marked down to $29. I thought, it must be seized because the saw looked like new. Nope, pulled over great. Pulled the choke out, cranked her over right there in the store, and it fired right up lol. It had gas and everything. I looked it over thoroughly, and noticed the chain was on backwards. So I looked at the cashier and said why is this so cheap? They said, Oh, someone returned it saying it wouldn't cut. I thought, It's worth the chance. The manager had to come approve a sale that marked down, and he said I knew someone would take advantage of this. I said what's wrong with it? He said chains on backwards and the guy wouldn't listen to me. So I bought it, brought it home, put the chain on right, and used it for about 20 minutes with no issues. It's one heck of a nice saw, and it's a blast to use. | |

| That saw is worth way more than every penny of $29! That's one heck of a deal man!
I woke up today with 56 notifications, 3 PAGES! 26 being Haspin ones. That's nothing compared to what Mighty probably has to deal with LOL!
