so i have some questions now. when i got my tractor, the right tie rod was already bent. I think i want to replace both, and all 4 ends. Is it strong enough to use aluminum tie rods on a mud mower doing rock crawling. Are hiem joints good. Should i get a male or female rod. Any help would be apreciated

Save your money and buy ball joints. As long as you keep her under 100 you’ll be fine.
All the failures I’ve seen have been caused by thin wimpy tie rods and drag links so if you weld two bolts to a solid piece of steel you shouldn’t have issues.

So yesterday, Christmas came early again. The Person who is carpooling me to school works for husky tools, and he is the person who presents the tools to home depot so they can decide if there gonna sell them. So there was tons of extra tools just lying around. He brought me 10 moving boxes of sockets, adapters, extensions, ratchets, plain wrenches, wrenches where the box end ratchets, wrenches where both ends ratchet, gear pullers, oil filter wrenches, work lights, multi bit screw drivers, breaker bars, just everything you could imagine. ill get some pictures when i get home, but its amazing. i only got through one box yesterday and filled up a five gallon bucket with sockets.

Yard sales are your friend. That's how I got started. Figure out what expands your capabilities, and buy a good version that is used (ie craftsman, etc)
All you need is a 3/8 and 1/2 socket set, some wrenches, a breaker bar, some punches and a big ol persuasion stick (hammer), + some patience. Add tools as you need them, or have to borrow them more than 3 times a month.

Hey, what oil should i use. i know its sae 30, but i dont know if its detergent on not, im not wanting to spend over 5 bucks on a quart. so yeah
10W 30, 10W 40, or sae 30 like you said from Walmart. If you want synthetic and all that that's up to you, but I usually run the cheapest conventional oil I can find unless the motor has a knock or something. If it does or is just kinda worn out, then run 10W 40.
Also, IDK if Walmart still carries it, but I believe it's cheaper for the 5 quart.

The engine, what @Murraymountain said... For the transaxle, any non-detergent SAE 30. I've busted a factory unit open and it had SAE 30 Bar and Chain oil. Good and sticky. Stay away from normal "detergent" oils for the trans. Oh, and to fill it faster, put it in neutral and pop off the gear shifter and go in that way. The filler will take FOREVER!
