Speaking of welding... New welder!





I should be able to hook up a wire feed, and high frequency Tig setup to this thing.

So its just stick, but can run a spoolgun and/ or torch?

I believe so. Im still doing some homework on the matter to see what all I need to get, but it is capable.

Sorry to divert your welder talk with not much Tractor related stuff going on lately in the forum. Just the fun and games threads.

Probably the weather. Those of us with no indoor/heated workspace dont want to be out in the cold!

YUP!!

I understand that. My garage unheated only got down to 52 when it was in the 20's out last winter. I was pretty lucky.

Today I used trick or treating as an excuse to scope out tractors lol. Saw something that has 12" rims and a flatty Briggs. Couldn't tell what it was, but it might have an 820. Looked like the deck lift lever was built into the deck.

Other than the 820 comment, you see an SS15 Suburban? 

I've only seen two Sears in my entire time living in Kentucky. Both the SS ones I think. have the blue and while paint scheme with the vertical parallel grill tines. One is in Tennessee, one's a few miles from me.

Welding conversion kit showed up today. Guess im getting a new welding cart.

I'd like to build me a welding cart.

I saw a cart... or maybe it was closer to a dolly... for the obligatory Lincoln buzz box. It was pretty slick. I want to build one. Of the stick welders I have, thats the more portable unit. With a short extension cord i can reach a bit further outside.

My little mig it light enough I can just carry it around, but a little cart might be nice... modify on of those radio flyer wagons for it!

I dont have time to build a cart, but most of all I dont have the space. Shop is getting redone this winter.

Must be nice to have a shop!
