this is my project LT-8 that im hoping to make a off-road go fast tractor out of.  Im going to pully swap it and because its chain drive change the gears.  it has a early 80's 11 Hp Briggs & Striation engine.sears LT-8 aka death whistles Img_7810

Sweet machine ya got there! Murray built I believe, has a Peerless 700 too! Great transmissions, preferred by mower racers. Yours is very similar to @ConfedraSears Lt8/36. I'd change the pulleys to a 6 to 6 setup to help the belt grip, and then mess around with the axle sprocket. Good luck!

Nice! I love those older all metal lawnmowers powered by old Briggs flatties. Those front wheels look a little small though Razz
