Wow, that doesnt look too bad at all. Nice comic strip gasket hahaha. As long as the needle bearings in the case are okay and that rust on the diff carrier didn't do any damage, I'd say you're go to go!! Did you get both axles un-froze?

Bearings are toast. Input wobbles. Plan is to replace bearings anyways. Got both axles out, they were both rust free inside the sleeves and case. Probably replace all the bushings aswell.

Yeah with an MTD you get to do more chassis stuff, which I like. Not a big deal, it's just personal preference.
