Dad woke me up this morning telling me I had to bring in some wood. Dad says he'd let me use a mower to do it(I'm kinda still grounded lol). So I threw this thing together as fast as I could, greased it up, and sent it. Bushings in the hubs are nice and tight. Have a degree or two of positive camber, looks good. Inside of left front rim is pretty warped/bent but it's fine for what I'm doing. She steers easier than before because I took care of the negative camber. At full stop on the steering and at full articulation the tires just hit the running boards. Shouldn't have to trim too much. Don't have the bumper on right now, but I already know I gotta trim it. Overall I'm loving this thing!

Sweet deal Rich! Can't wait to see some video of ol' MUTT climbing over a 15" rock, hahaha.

Do you need to trim the running board or would a bend work?

Could bend it up but I don't wanna handicap my clutch action. A trim will do. Only gotta take off the corner.

Here she is! Looks a lot less weird with the hood on. Had to mod the hood mounts a little so I could have the hood on with the muffler I put on it

As if this thing needed to be any pointier. Oh well, lol. It does look a lot better now. Touched up the whole thing with the rattle can.


Chopped off the edges of the running boards. Didnt have to do as much as i thought I would. Doesn't seem to have weakened them any either. Note the French on the stickers, kinda odd for something from Kentucky!




Knew I couldn't leave bare metal like that so I masked them off so like 1/2" along the edge was showing and painted it.




Not too bad for my first masking job I think lol




Oh, and I brought the front tires down to 2psi and the rears down to 1.5psi. Just right for crawling!

Nice man. I wonder how your front bumper would look painted like a road hazard triangle lol.

You should put a road hazard sign bolted to the triangle.

Hahaha there's some interesting ideas. Although I doubt I'll do that, there's gonna be a winch in there someday.

ohhh looks great with the new front tire !

maybe lift the rear an inch or two ? so it goes back level haha

It only has a degree of backwards lean man! Just the hood is leaning because i moved it forward to fit this muffler!

An alternator is a possibility. Kubotas had a little generator/alternator on them, if i could stick one of those on there I think I'd be alright. Although i really need a car battery lol.

ah yeah i see the hood did make it look like it had more..
yeah.. car batteries are a nice upgrade..

Looks really great Rich! If even she has a bit of a backwards lean just leave it, gives 'er some presence haha.

It does look nice.  I like the bumper better now actually, but that is for your preference.

I like it a lot better now too. Looks more than just some junk I welded together and painted lol.

I vote paint the triangle of the bumper orange. That would give it some character...

Thanks lol. Front axle and tie rod looks really cool when painted too, for whatever reason.
