Just finished building a temporary coop for my hens because they need to stay out of their normal run/coop to let the grass grow again.

Btw the green curtain over the door is to stop magpies and other birds getting in and eating the feed/eggs.

Some people drive me crazy...I cannot believe he removed the clutch! Also, is it just me, or is his transaxle in backward?

I don’t know about the transaxle looks like it’s been in there for a while and he didn’t mention taking it out and putting it back in.

Well I was only thinking that because if you pause it at 0:55 you can clearly see it is the reverse of at least a conventional mower.

ahhhhh and people say i am hard on mowers...... yeah the tranny is in a reverse location , but most likely designed that way for space saving purposes.

It looks like an AWS Noma, maybe they swapped in a standard transaxle but had to put it in backward. Either way, I wonder if it now has 1 forward gear and 5-6 reverse gears....

I know it says "Snapper" on it but the fenders look like a noma.

They wouldn’t have to put them in backwards. The CQ is an AWS noma and the MST swapped right in

Cool banjo! I really want one. What are they tuned to? Regular EADG or something weird like a uke?

I'm not too sure. When I got it, the bridge was off and it wasn't tuned, but after I assembled it, I tuned it using a banjo tuner app I found.  But after I did that, it now sounds more like a deep guitar than all twangy like a banjo.  That's an idea, I'll try tuning it off a uke tuner and see what happens. LOL

The uke tuner is gonna be higher, don't do that. I just meant did it have the same notes on the open strings (an octave or two down, of course), and that the 3rd string was bigger than the 4th (with string instruments, the string farthest from you is the #1 string).

Get that GuitarTuna app I told you about. Has all sorts of tuner options(Guitar, bass, uke, mandolin, 12 string, banjo, etc). Note you'll have to buy a package to get all the tuning options, you'll be stuck with standard in the free version, but of course there's ways to get around that, at least if you wanna go lower.

Yeah definitely don't use a uke tuning, they're in like GCEA or some wierd thing. I don't think that would work on a banjo.
