I wish I lived closer to my school. I'd run out of gas before I got there on mutt, assuming I could get her to stay together for the ride. I live about 24mi from my school, lol

Quick update. I took the CQ through the local McDonald's drive thru on the way home. The guy at the first window was totally unfazed, maybe even slightly annoyed. The second guy though, I could tell I made his day.
Right as I made it into my neighborhood though the idler self destructed. Ill upload pics once mom gives my phone back, but the bearing is completely gone. Picking up a new one tomorrow. Still had enough tension to make it home though and didn't cook the belt too bad, although I'm keeping a spare with me just in case

It was a Kevlar belt, which I don't think those stretch too bad. Anyway, I think I can adjust a little slack out of it with the sliding pulley on the clutch so all is good

Looking at that idler now, looks like it popped off the inner bearing race. I'd say that one was pretty well chooched!
When ya gonna put the hood back on it? I wanna see this thing complete!

Lol once I get time to pressure wash it and paint it right. I want to get the whole tractor done in one swing. Engine will be coming out soon so I'll paint the frame then and probably everything else. I just need a solid weekend where I'm not driving all over creation

Get it finished up, maybe there will be time to update the group PIC?

That's the goal, we'll see if I can find the time. I want to try to take it apart and paint it and get it back together in as little time as possible, because I'm having too much fun with it. Drove it to school again today. Idlers aren't making noise anymore and the carb is doing much better with the seafoam through it

Just don't do any third gear wheel stands again CQ, or you'll be back at square one. Hahaha.

LOL AK! Yeah just to be safe a buddy and I went to the junkyard yesterday. No 820's (Sorry Richie) but we got 3 MST-206's, a bumper for the CQ, and two sets of turf tires. One set is 20 inches tall and the other is 18. Both have like new tread so figured they'd be good for something lol
Also, unrelated but I saw a red 02 impala with the 3.8 that had just come in that week with 350k on it when the engine finally gave out

Finally doing a dedicated video on this thing! Got a walkaround, a romp, and even a trail fix on my friends MTD. New engine is acquired and will be going in this winter. Frame will be painted black while the engine is out and fenders will be tan. Sidepanels will be black I think and I'm still undecided on the center tunnel. What you guys think?

OK guys I'm sorry. First video uploaded in 144p and the second try didn't have the whole thing, had to remake it. Cut out a little more of the boring bits to shorten it down some to make it a little better to watch too lol. Here is (hopefully) the final cut!

I think you should paint the whole thing bright pink.
Jk lol. I like the silver it has. If you could paint the trans tunnel black and rims black, then repaint the fenders, hood, and whatever else in that silver, it'd look pretty good.
