| I like the look of the Roper hood on it. I think it looks better than the stock WeedEater hood. | |

| I can't even remember the last time i saw a fedex truck... they're not so common anymore.
Anyways, not to get off topic lol. Since they're going to be front tires, are you gonna run them backwards so you actually get traction?

| Well, I see them more often on my security cams at my gate.
Yeah, probably not. The turfs do a decent job of getting traction so I'm sure the ags won't be any worse. Either, way the rims I'm mounting them on a semi-reversible (the only thing that isn't is the valve stem) so I can run them both ways to see which one is best. We'll see.

| FINALLY!!!! So, once I saw them, I knew I had to get them mounted tonight. I had one tube set aside for the tires, so I mounted one, which was a piece of cake, surprisingly. Then I went scrambling around for another tube and found 3 more, 2 of which were the wrong size and the last one had a giant hole in it. Then I found another tire the same size and tore it off the rim to get at the tire, and then mounted the second one which was easier than I thought, but a little harder than the first. Steer beautifully, I love them. I do have some toe I need to fix, before someone says something. | |

Time for a new tie rod! | |

Thanks, yeah I was. To the tires, yes, to the rims, no. https://www.tires-easy.com/4.00-8/deestone-tires/d402-i-3/tirecode/DS5212Be sure to change the quantity to 1, for some reason the website expects you want four lol. $19.22 a piece. The rims are rims from an old dump cart. I bought them at Tractor Supply, and they came with these really crappy tires that were like paper thin, and barely holding together, and had some sort of elastic or something in the sidewalls instead of wire. They lasted like a week, and I didn't even use them in that time. The tubes were good, so I used the rims and tubes for this. The rims have decent bearings in them and everything. Each of those rim+"tire"+tube was $15. - Crazy_Carl wrote:

Time for a new tie rod! Yeah, I agree! They steer beautifully too. Yep, fortunately, I have a spare.

| They look good! A bit small for my taste but I think they'll do well.
Oh, get some proper sealed bearings for those front rims. I had a set of those once and the bearings basically threw themselves apart after a few days of use.

Thanks, yep, they are. I hauled 600 pounds of rocks in a trailer supported by these rims once.

| Got the toe mostly fixed. Built this redneck flag pole out of an upside down deer feeder leg. Plan to fly a triple threat flag off the back. | |

yalp, it bowed itself out into a V. - MightyRaze wrote:

Yep, the original hood. It looks a little better with these tires, oddly enough.
