Got her running on either . And it runs on full choke . No more back pressure out the carb. Needs a good carb cleaning. Has a Nikki on it so I am hoping it's easier than a walbro

Yeah . Hope I can get to the carb today. Make that two carbs today..... Got the engine bolted to the new LT4000 and it runs but does that annoying surge thing.

Yeah Murray's are so light. Craftsman frames are so much more beefy and I am never getting another Murray to off road or mud unless it has a 820, then I am scrapping the b*tch out for it.

Don't get me wrong, L'il Red is a Murray Widebody and I have done a lot of mods to strengthen it, but in the end, it is still pretty light. That is why I am building up the old Murray GT to be my primary.

Honestly I'd rather build an MTD than a Murray. They just seem like a lot better base to start with than a Murray.

Well they defiantly have a cleaner and more open frame once you strip them down .

So, the wife and I got us a new (used) truck today. I think it will make a fine toy puller/hauler!

I am imagining it could bring kale and ill red down here pretty easy !Lol awesome , those trucks have insane power, I drove an older one from a niebhor and it had one rear brake that was out so I stopped on the highway and held the brakes and pulled a little burn out you could be going 50 mph down a dirt road and floor it and it would spin out the rear tires.
