Yah, AMX, LOL. Been a while. Growing up, the people who had them would always have the 4 banger one's and be like" when I blow the 4 banger, then I'll put the 8 cylinder in" They would be beating the piss out of it and never blew the 4 bangers, LOL. I knew 2 guys who said that.

Saw these out on I75 today... I think they were taking the Pontiac to get painted since all the chrome was off, everything was (half) primed, and the windshield and other parts were taped.
Then saw this oldie at the Whole Foods in Kennesaw, GA... Land Cruiser I believe.
Made a 600 mile trip today, so I saw a few nice ones including an Aston Martin, and one of these... Sounded just like it too.

Yeah definitely 60's. I looked some models up and the closest match I can find is either a GTO or a LeMans (they're practically the same thing though). The windshield and taillights don't match the Catalinas I looked up. Either way pretty nice ride. The rear was setup for drag racing I think.

Ooh, I found something that fits this category very well the other day.
So motorcycle in the front, T-bucket in the back? Pretty good combination... Wonder how much that air filter cost...
You know what, I think I have a picture from 2015 of a motorcycle/Corvair combination. I'll have to see if I can find it.

There's a guy 2 miles down from me with an old Ford panel truck... Full of rust and bullet holes and whatnot. There's also a guy on the NC/GA line with a Jeep postal van. Your truck there is basically a combination of the two... You oughta try and get 'er runnin...

I like that orange one. Is the gray one being set up for racing...
'Round here, '69 and '70 C10s are daily drivers... Seriously, you're bound to see one if you leave the house.
So here's that "motovair"..... Sorry for the poor quality, but the camera it was on has internal problems that won't allow me to download it to this memory card, so I just took a pic of the pic.

Yeah those are nice ol' trucks muddstir. Is the orange one a C or a K series? Kinda looks more like a K to me.
The Orange one is a k series - it's nothing special just a 1/2t longbed, 350 with a sm465, 4in lift and 35's
Murrymountain- the gray one is going to be kinda setup for racing but more on the handling side of it. I would like to run this truck as my daily driver next summer but since we do have a road course fairly close to my house I would like to take it there and run some laps. Then a few of my buddies like to go to the one drag strip to run their cars so i figured I'd go and run against them as well. But really my main goal is to make this thing able to cruise down the interstate at 75 mph for long distances or long periods of time.
I'll be starting this build this winter and the plan is- 6.0 motor swap backed up with a Tremec T56 Magnum 6 Speed transmission, cut the long bed down to a short bed and lower it 4/6 (not real sure if those are the amounts that I want to go with yet). Then over the summer I can upgrade all the suspension/ brake kits then get rims and tires for it.

This guy's had these forever.... His dad bought the blue truck new from the dealer I believe. It's never left that family. The 1916 Model-T-ish car was actually used as a railroad service vehicle back in the 20s or 30s I think, then it was set up for regular use and has been sitting for a good 40 years I'd say. He used to decorate it for halloween, but he's getting too old for it now. He also has a '78 Mustang 2 that was his daughter's first car. It's been sitting for about 15-20 years. He also has an old 3100 flatbed, and an almost MINT condition Model-T in his garage. Funny part, none of them are for sale. LOL.

I think I shared this machine in a previous thread, but....
Lets see, Year unknown, but I do know it's a Ford Fairmont on a '79 F-150 chassis. Apparently it ran and drove when I took the pic, but I think he sold it now. Pretty cool machine.
Oh yeah, while we're on the subject of station wagons, had this guy pull up today looking for a house just up the road... He had one awesome little machine.
Wow, this is my 1000th post. Seems like I joined last week LOL.

So I was thinking about what I can do with my wife's 91 Cutlass Supreme and like that Ford station wagon is what I'll be doing to it. I got the old Jeep Wagoneer still, with the blown trans but the body is shot and the frame is still good. So I might put the Cutlass on that frame. I just don't want to rebuild the car like it was, being front wheel drive and having to rebuild the rear frame and suspension in it to stock form. I like 4 wheel drive and rear wheel drive, Not front wheel drive. If I don't use my Jeep then I'll be getting a Blazer if it is wide enough. No sense in getting a full size Chevy when I got my Jeep with plenty of parts.

I know someone who was able to put a Mustang II on an International Scout frame. I'll post pics in here eventually. The engine sat WAY back in there. Belts were about where the carb should've been. I guess the main thing is finding a 4WD vehicle with the same wheelbase? Shouldn't be too hard. I mean, a heck of a lot of 90's pickups have 4WD.
I want to build an 80's Firebird like that too. Red, white, and blue paint, Cummins Diesel, 4WD AND be able to smoke the tires (not in 4WD of course). It'll be a sick ride when it's built. I'll probably just end up putting the body on the best chassis I can find unless the stock chassis doesn't need that many mods.

Im giving some bizarre thought to parking an 80s Mercedes Diesel on a Ramcharger frame. Wheelbas is only off by... 1 or 2 in if I recall. If I could get the Merc cheap enough...
