Howdy folks! This build may look familiar to ya from last years fail but plans have changed. Goal is to go all out this year but on a small budget. Been gathering junk for this thing since summer 2018. Most was just stuff laying around. This may be impossible to do due to its bigger then the tractor but its getting front independent suspension from a Honda Rancher 420 4x4. It will need to be stretched to adapt it but may just leave it as is due to the size of the suspension set up. It already has 27x12x12 Interco Vampires on the rear and the front will be who knows. Goal is to track down some 24x9x10 or 25x9.5x12 Interco Vampires for the front.
I have came across a 18HP Kohler magnum Oppy out of a old forklift. Will need to get drive shaft adapter made for it. Winch bumper with LEDs up front for sure. Rear rack with ammo cans, 2" custom reciver for towing, custom foot boards, wheel spacers to push tires out farther if needed, and dual exhaust that dump out the back with fish tails. Paint is simple but it with have to be torn all the way down to frame paint it all. Hydro dipping this tractor in Teal Green and Black will be sweet. I'm crossing fingers that this gets done and over with this year. Make sure to check out all the updates I upload to the channel and the playlist. Good luck to all this year.

Just barely saw your sign. You might get a little closer of that for the other members. I can blow it up and see the date and handwritten cheeseburger. I'll let you in!
Original 8" rims are back in action. No more grinding sounds when the wards gets pushed around. I'll swap the 20x10x8 off the John deere yellow rear rims over to the wards rims with bearings tomorrow. All I had on the shelf was blue but it will keep them from rusting up more.

Installed the 22x12.50x8 wooly boogers on the wards. Narrower rims are making them 24x9.5x8 tall. Don't care for them as a front tire but for not having hubs yet for the other tires I have no choice. Top of hood is 36". The front independent suspension from the Rancher 420 is way to large for this tractor. I'm back to using the stock axle plan.

Drug some farm tractor attachments out of the since I ran out of space for these tractors and the old '63 International Harvester 404 no longer is running. I'm a ready to get started with the wards.

Went to Walmart to shop for paint for the build and they have completely discontinued the spray paint I wanted to use. Very frustrating. Wanted Teal Green so bad.

[adm] I have put the new [-19] on your build until you are able to work on the entry again. The [-19] gives you a pass for monthly updates until this blows over. [/adm]
Actually got out to work the the wards. It was stuck between the sheds in the far back covered in junk with 3 flat tire. I can understand that the 30+ year old woolly boogers went flat after 3 months but my brand new vamp went flat? Come to find out it had a little crack in the tire behind one of the lugs that was leaking. Guess it's not a good thing for tires to sit on gravel for a long time.
Got it then all aired up and the vamp plugged after dragging it out with the fourwheeler. Started disassembling the engine then pulled it. Cleaned and degreased it. Started sanding and painting the engine parts. I'll be picking up some more paint. Ran out before I got to the block. Stinks but is what it is. I love that shade of white. What do you think? Flat fronts and cant find inner tubes for that size. Stands tall with air in them. Flat vamp. I was quite mad when it started leaking when they have never been used yet. She's a roller again. Woohoo lol! Pulled engine after removing a lot of parts off it. Before pic of shroud.
After pic of the shroud. It not quite a white but not a cream. It's as close to the original color I could get it. I'm digging it.
Degreased block.
For git to get a pic but all engine parts are painted.
Ill get the block painted today hopefully before it rains.

Got a lot of head way today on the engine. Isn't she a beaut. The exhaust pipe is gonna get tacky or just smoke like heck until it burns off be at least itll look good once. All I need to do tomorrow is swap some original hard ware over to the new carb. I did do some blue accents on the shroud since theres a lot of white and it was a fail. Tape I used was to thin and paint soaked right through it. Painted over with white just for now. I'll try again when I pull the shroud. I'm tempted to install the engine and rewire it just to see it running for the first time but I'd hate to have to pull the engine and RIP the wiring back out to paint the frame. The theme I'm shooting for is a vintage look. The wards that was geared with a peerless 2300 were yellow & white and the hydrostatic with a Eaton 11 were blue & white. I despise yellow . The hydrostatic models are like pieces of art imo.
