Long evening tonight. Got about 60% of the wiring done. I still lack 1 accessory, tether kill, and finishing the horn. Also, once I get an engine installed, the kill, charge, headlight and floodlights.

OK, 75-80% of the wiring is now done. Just need a tether kill, and I bought a USB charge plug to replace the one I stole months ago out of Kal. I think it is on Red right now.
I am struggling on the engine. I have the 16HP that I need to put the snap ring on the governor. No big deal, I have a gasket for the sump. I have red's 17HP. It's a weak and used up engine, but still runs. Just lacking in power. I have the 22hp Vtwin that I just can't seem to run right. Now that I have some carb cleaning tools, I could try that again, but noticed oil leaking out one of the exhaust pipes. Not good.
Right now, it is looking like the 16hp with the minor repair unless I find another engine all together. I looked tonight and it is slim pickings for a decent price.
Items yet to be installed or need.
Purchased and waiting on delivery:
New boots for the Rack
USB weatherproof port.
tether kill
choke cable
4x4 Bearing hubs
bearings (PGN this time not the XIKE)
Front tires (I still have 4x4 8 inch wheels)
STILL waiting for the clutch pulley
Need to purchase:
6" pulley
headlights
Need to build:
Front bumper. The old one got chopped up for parts.

I wouldn’t worry too much about the oil at first. Sometimes when these get tipped up on their nose the oil runs into the heads. Run it til it smokes!

I'm going to pull the carb and give it a good cleaning. It could be a little clogged causing some running rough issues. When I got the engine it ran really good I thought. The Diode did go out on it for the coils. I replaced it, (proper direction) and it ran some better, but I may need to look into that as well. One of the coils could be going out.

So, I completely disassembled the carb on the vtwin. It was pretty gummed up. One of what I would call emulsion tubes had green tarnish and partially clogged up. While blowing it out with air, something came out of it. Dirt wise. Also, I plugged the bottom solenoid hole while I was there. I'm ready to test it out. But first, I decided to see how it would look or if it would work on Kal.
Yikes! Not much room. I'm certainly on the fence now about it.

I'm going to abort on the v-twin. I'm going to put the 16hp opposed in instead. Opposed look so much better with these hoods. If I had a hood like what @Doug has on his that he crushed. I'd probably keep the v-twin. I'm ready to bust the sump off and put the governor pin in. I still can't see how one of these would come off. I'm pretty sure I have a gasket to put back on.

The Opposed has its governor ring in and put back together. Also, it has been dropped on the frame. Not sure where the pulley went unless I put it on Bowser.

I was tired and forgot to post that.
Her's kal looking a lot more normal.
The rack and pinion reinstalled with new boots. Ordered for what I have and got something else. Made them work anyways. Now I have steering again and can move the tractor around now much easier.
As for replacement tires, I went with an OCELOT P340 because they were cheap. LOL. They should be fine. 19x7-8. I will have to get a different rim. Aparently my old rims are the really wide ones for 10 inch wide tires. I could get it to work, but I'd rather have the height than width.
That's pretty much it for now. I'll probably finish wiring the head lights and start thinking about a front bumper of some kind. I'm thinking a simple half hoop to grab on to.

Those are probably better than any of the front tires I’ve had lol. I like pointy bumpers

LOL, pointy.
I may use the old bumper from Red. Not certain yet.
Headlights now fully installed.
Also, my hubs and bearings came in for the front wheels. Hubs trimmed down and bearings installed. Once my wheels get here, I'll install and see if I need to get some spacers for not. I may need a 1 inch 4on4 spacer like my other builds.
I do have to say, these PGN bearings are MUCH better than the XiKe.
I guess outside the bumper and LED lights I have from RED for it. I just need an engine pulley. I think 6 inch. Also maybe a new winch. The old one burned up.

After some thinking, I decided to fall back on my idea of a budget revival.
I also decided not to put on a winch for now. Red's bumper is installed, and all wiring is complete now. I think I will come up with something for an ammo box trunk like I did with Dirty Rat.

Went to check on my wheels, they are backordered and estimated shipping is July 19! JULY 19!!! I cancelled my order. Purchased from another seller even though it was $30 more, it says I'll get them Friday. LOL

Ugh.... Setback. Went to pull out Kal today for that drive. Couldn't get it to fire. Traced it down to the fuel pump on the carb. OK, I have one more gasket set for a 3 screw. On the way back to the tractor, the wind blew the tiny spring for the pump right out of my hand. Could not find. Ugh. I don't see another spring in my stash. I have a 4 screw that works, just not 100%. Put it on and Vroom. idled a little bit rough, but not too bad. What I expected. Jumped on put it in gear and ran about 2 feet and instantly died. Like flat on its face. Started it back up, wouldn't rev more than 50%. Release the clutch die. Messed with the throttle manual bypassing the governor thinking it was the issue. Would not rev even bypassing gov. Then it just died. No more restart. Checked spark and it is very bright. Starter spins it like it has no compression. I fear a dropped valve. I'll dig in tomorrow and see. If not, the engine may be further gone than I think. I could put Red's tired engine in for the mean time till another oppy falls into my lap.
