Love the rock lights. Do you have any plans of beefing up the front axle at all? If you plan on doing more than just cruising trails, it might be worth boxing the ends in a bit.

Yeah, it's on the list. Gotta clean up the slop in the frontend and lock the diff first.

Nice. A fozzy lock works really good on these, I did it with the 2300 in Budgie.

Those look like the gears from the ends of the axles. Did you also weld the gears on the cross pin?

You can, but I never did. Probably not a bad idea. Make sure everything cools slowly after you weld it, no quenching.

I would not weld the crosspin on a fuzzy lock, it's just one more thing to fail in a design that is supposed to be fail proof.
