HASPIN 2023 - June 7-11

I'm sure @Stretch44875 and/or @TheRainbowBoxer will by by to confirm, but it looks like Haspin Dates finally dropped.

June 7-11th.

Some important changes to their Rules:

• Fishing is permitted in the ponds. Swimming is NO LONGER PERMITTED in the ponds at Haspin Acres.
  
• Helmets Required
  
• NO more riding after 10PM or before 6AM

Where: Haspin Acres, located in Laurel, IN
When: Wednesday June 7th through Sunday June 11th.
What: Offroad rally, talk shop, swap parts, and hang out with some awesome friends.
Who:  Anybody with (or without) an off-road mower can hang with the Mowercycle Gang at this rally.


Haspin is about 800 acres. Trail difficulty ranges from easy to "Are you out of your mind?!?".

Ride anywhere but in the campground. No electricity or water provided in the campground.
There is one set of restrooms and showers, about 1/8th mile from campground (They have been very muddy in the past, but better in recent years). The doors close at 10pm.
Water is available for hosing off rides and riders.

Camping is available in woods or campground.

Prices for park last year were $20 first day, $15 second, $10 each day after.  Not sure if they have changed, but that gives you an idea.

*****IMPORTANT NOTES!*****

Haspin requires all riders to wear helmets on all trails. If you do not bring a helmet, they won't let you ride.

If you are under age and planning to come, you must work out the Haspin Acres waiver ahead of time or come with a parent.  We do not want anyone to drive a long distance and be turned away at the gate.  We will not pretend to be anyone's parents, and we are not responsible for you.  

As we are doing this rally jointly with Steelsoldiers, be respectful of these very cool guys and their very cool rides.

Expect to break your tractor.  Be prepared with tools and parts.

Catch me there! I’m assuming open face helmets are fine as long as they’re DOT approved?

I’ve seen people get by with bicycle helmets.

This is the back piece of the T-shirt for Haspin this year... any changes at this point will be minor.  Front will be same as last year with the mower cycle guy (taking a few years break from the evolution logo).  I think we are doing some form of green this year.
I'm guessing about $15 per shirt.

Haspin is now over. I hope those that got to go had some fun. As of right now, I am a go for 2024. Sure missed going this year. I've gone the ODD years now since 2019.

I definitely had a great time even though my stuff broke, and would love to see you there Mighty! I’ll just have to come back, it’s only a 4 hour drive for me.
