I'm guessing that's gonna be the rear body, kinda like Doc did with the Diesel Weasel?

I have a new wheelbarrow tub myself, it was upstate I guess to replace a tub to a wheelbarrow that isnt around anymore. Its too small for a rat build (and I dont want to do the work), so the plan was to make a dirtbike trailer from it.

Neat idea. this one that I have was wooden so it just rotted away and left me with a nice big wheelbarrow.

Gotta love when a trailer comes in for a safety after not being safetied since 2012.
Needless to say stuff doesn't come apart very nice when it's been that long, haha.

I like drum brakes, they work nice. We don't even have to get trailers registered or inspected here lol.

But disk brakes are faster to replace and dont make a lip that holds the shoe on when its worn.

Disc brakes are definitely easier to disassemble, but they don't seem to last as long drum brakes. At least with electric trailer brakes you don't have to worry about brakes lines and stuff, haha. Plus drum brakes are adjustable.

Yeah they're not too bad really. Getting the drums off is the bad part, but if they're properly adjusted and not super wore out they come off pretty nice .

So , you take apart drum brakes to put new shoes on them when they aren't worn so the drum comes off easily ? lol I had quite a fun time getting off my drums when the pads were completely worn .

No you use the hole in the backing plate to get to the adjuster wheel and back the shoes off so they don't catch the ridge in the drum. Then a few good cracks on the face of the drum with a hammer breaks it loose.

So I was kinda looking around for parts and stuff today and I re-visited the truck I got the steering box outta. I got looking and realized that it has some kinda cool triangulated radius arm set up with coils on the rear axle.
Here's one of the coils mounted to the diff axle.
Then the radius arms are mounted by a pivot point on a crossmember just behind the box.
I tried to get a good picture of the whole rear axle setup. Also you can kinda see the panhard mount on the left side of the differential housing.
I woulda thought it'd just have leaves in the back, but this setup is pretty cool. I bet she was a pretty nice ride.

Yeah I figured it was kinda like a trailing arm setup, but kinda triangulated. I didn't expect to see it in that old truck, but apparently some of them had it, and some of them just had leaves.
