| I'm pretty sure some of the single cylinder engines with oil filters where just that. They had a pump that sent oil from the oil pan through the filter but that's all, so not full pressure lube. Unless it says "Full pressure lubrication" on the shroud it probably isn't. But there is that chance this is some odd-ball engine that's worth looking into! Haha. | |

| But that still doesn’t explain the cast aluminum valve cover. It has valve covers like a vanguard, so it makes me wonder what the valvetrain specs are | |

| It’s a GT. Look at the wheels. Plus it has a 3-pt hitch | |

| Well it's still catagorized as a "GT", so that's why it has that trans. The part I find interesting is the fact that it has an Onan engine. If so I'm thinking someone swapped it in because they didn't put Onans in those I'm pretty sure. _______________________________________________ "This'll either wake you up or put you to sleep forever!"- Red Green "Whatever you do you should do right, even if it's something wrong." - Hank Hill - MTD Off-Road Build - Ford LT 110 Off-Road Build - Craftsman GT 6000 Off-Road Build - Sears LT11 Rat Rod Build *2019 Build-Off Winner!* - Allis B-110 x2, 710 & 716 - Wheel Horse 655, 953 & 500 Special - Case 444 - Bolens Versamatic & 1668 - Cub 106 & 124 - Ford LGT 125 & 145 - White 1650 Yard Boss | |

| Probably a Kohler like in yours AK, but the sticker is gone or the guy can’t remember.
I suppose an Onan is possible, but looking at the exhaust, it looks factory. I wasn’t aware of craftsman using Onan

| Well CQ you can buy those hitches on the Sears website, they bolt to any craftsman with wheels bigger than 18". But Bigg has a II and he said that the IIs didn't have hi and lo transmissions.
Yeah I've never seen the red ones before, kinda neat.

At my job on weekends, I do maintenance on the equipment and build up new equipment. Building a dust collection system for a robot. The barrel that the heavy stuff falls in needed a lid so a barrel lid was ordered because of the clamp for the lid. So I cut out a hole to weld in the tube for the machine and the part cut out, the center of the lid, well when I cut it out it was a perfect 7 inch circle piece of steel. I didn't want to scrap it, it looked to useful. I hung onto it for a week or so and ended up doing another one. So now I got two steel 7 inch circles. Then it hit me what I could do with them, and made the two..... I think I nailed the color, LOL. I just gave them away to coworkers/friends. They got a kick out of them.

| Not a bad idea, but wheelies galore! It also is held on with angle iron welded to the fenders. Just kinda redneck and not built well, but definitely would be useful. | |

| Hey ya'll! I'm gonna try for this! https://austin.craigslist.org/grd/d/john-deere-mower/6506514951.htmlEmailed him, haven't heard back yet. I'm sad to say, if the deck and everything is in good enough shape, I'm going to restore it and sell it. Only because, with the price of John Deere's in my area, I could easily make $700-$1000 off it, and, given that I don't have a job or an allowance, that's too good to pass up since I can spend that making 3 other tractors. We'll see tho, I'm kinda hoping the deck is rusted out or something, lol. | |

| Okay, so question for all you JD people: does that style 110 have the gas tank in the rear or in the front? Curious if it has a fuel pump. Also, is the PTO electric or manual, and since it's a horizontal shaft engine and the decks need a vertical shaft drive, is there a belt twist or what? | |

| Should be a little steel fuel tank under the hood. I'm pretty sure the PTO clutch is mechanical but I'm not positive, and there will probably be some sort of mule drive type thing with a belt twist setup similar to a Sears.

| Yeah, I think that thing in front of the steering looks like a deck engagement. Nice and simple, the way I like it! Gonna go get it sometime on Saturday. | |
