| Thanks Matt! Yeah I do as well, some pretty cool old stuff made back in the day. It's a K160 which I believe is rated for 6.6hp. Same engine Bolens put on the Ride-O-Matic, which is very similar to this rig but it's a four wheel riding tractor. | |

| hmm now this is a stumper for me, briggs ohv, not sure of the hp but i'd say around 17.5 based on the tractor it's on, a 2010 or so yardman with a 42in deck, it's getting good fire, compression, fuel, the valves are in need of a little adjustment but not bad, and it won't start, in fact it actually acts like it has no compression when cranking, it cranks really fast, I don't think it's a valve issue because of the fact it has good compression, the same with the decompression valve, I was told the briggs ohvs have one, as I said i'm stumped on this one, any ideas on what it might be would be appreciated. | |

| Yeah it actually does seems like the valve lash needs to be adjusted. If that's not the cause of it maybe check to see if the flyhweel key hasn't sheared or something. _______________________________________________ "This'll either wake you up or put you to sleep forever!"- Red Green "Whatever you do you should do right, even if it's something wrong." - Hank Hill - MTD Off-Road Build - Ford LT 110 Off-Road Build - Craftsman GT 6000 Off-Road Build - Sears LT11 Rat Rod Build *2019 Build-Off Winner!* - Allis B-110 x2, 710 & 716 - Wheel Horse 655, 953 & 500 Special - Case 444 - Bolens Versamatic & 1668 - Cub 106 & 124 - Ford LGT 125 & 145 - White 1650 Yard Boss | |

as far as I know it won't start on starting fluid, the upper valve, sorry I don't know which is intake and which is exhaust, is a little loose, but doesn't seem so loose it would affect it much, the lower valve could be to tight but i'm not totally sure until I find my feeler gauge, the owner said he checked the flywheel key and it was fine

| The exhaust valve is the one that the compression release is on. Just a little too snug and you lose your compression. Fiddle with them some. I got the last one I did totally by feel | |

| Nice little mower. I like them 20" rears. You'll need to put a bumper or something to protect that trans at the rear. You should make a thread for this machine. | |

We will mod the Bagger mount thing to protect MST I have so much threads running, IDK how I should have enough time to take care of it too.

we adjusted and readjusted the valves, contacted the owner and he decided to put another engine on the chassis, so we took it back to his place, but it'll probably end up being used for parts anyway, the guy sort of fixes used mowers and resells them, I say sort of fixes them because he does what he needs to in order to get them running and mowing and sold to whomever is willing to buy them, mostly he just sells used parts though.
