| Though I would go ahead and make a thread about this tractor and stop spamming the talk about anything thread V3. Plans are to keep it pretty stock but find some tires with more aggressive tread to get better traction for pulling stuff around the yard and maintaining my trails I have down in the woods. The oppy is pressure lubed and the tranny is a 6 speed peerless 820 and seems like it is still nicely lubed up from the grease so I woulnt tear it open just yet to oil fill it. Borrowed the heat shields off of the snapper so I could drive it around some. Does nicely being stock speed and the steering isn't worn out yet. It needs a better hitch and some wiring and a pull start for back up until I get a battery for it lol.

| Hey, there's not enough room on this forum for two GT3000 threads! Jk, looks good! I'd throw some oil in that trans just for good measure. | |

| That's sick! Could make a great puller. Those tiny front tires look so dumb on it with the big rears. | |

| Yeah I am probably putting some 22 inch atv tires o the rear with 10 inch rims so it will look better. Went out and smoothed some trail already, these tires even being stock turf tires get pretty good traction and pull nicely. | |

| Were you dragging around the tire rim to level the trails? At my buddy's property they drag around old tractor tires on the atv trails. | |

| Yeah it's a bent tractor tire rim. I cut some slits in one side and then pounded the edge over to give it a bite . Also use a large section of American fencing that I drag for smoothing out the dirt and a small section of old drag narrow forndigging in deeper and giving a soft top layer | |

| Well, I'm beat. But that stuck rim is too!!! Haha!! Spend 2 hours heating and pounding it off with an old 820 axle shaft and a splitting maul. Ended up tying the wheel to a tree with mower belts and then whaling on it non stop for an hour with heat and oiling it a couple times. Got it put finally. I am already swapping over the mud lites in preparation for the new tires for the lt4000 . | |

| Itps are on, pulley swapped the front, like the speed increase but could defiantly use a idler movement so I can clutch !!! Goes around 9mph I would say, which with very grippy tires and a lightweight machine is pretty good for some mudding and pulling stuff around. | |

| Got the belt loose enough to where it does clutch now. Drives nicely with the mud lites. I realized that I now have 4 running and driving mowers and 2 that actually mow! | |

| Well you could only see the Craftsman GT3000 part in the notification, unless somebody had a short name. Which is kinda uncommon around here lol.
Oh i see you changed it now, thanks! | |

| Well took it for a ride last night. The hood falls off very often, and the pulse pump is pretty weak. Either it hopped from 1rst gear into 2nd gear or I have a chipped tooth on first gear. Pulley swap really helped with belt slippage and now it pops nice slow wheelies lol. Did good in mud probs my because e of how light it is. | |

| Went romping after I swapped carbs on it. Gets stuck very quickly and also doesn't do well being out of gas for some reason lol. It's sleeping in the woods for now . | |

| some how lots has happened to this mower than was not planned on, it now has a stack, goes about 22mph governed, has knobbies on the front, and a strongly welded front end since I folded it up onto itself with the lovley cracked frame that most craftsmans get. planning on taking it and the lt4000 to the local steam engine and tractor show and drive it around a day or so and draw some attention . planning on removing the governer so should in theory go over 30mph , and haddle mud better as it bogs down terribly in any mud with the governor unable to keep up. has a 7.5 ich front pulley and a 6.5 inch rear pulley with a dual pulley clutch. | |

| Awesome build plan and I like the stack. I saw some lightly modified tractors like us guys on the forum have driving around my local steam and tractor show. | |
