Nice! ARC, MIG, or TIG? I'm getting a Millermatic 211 in like a week or two.

| I have the same welder and absolutely love it. But when you run out of wire, DO NOT buy Hobart wire. That stuff is garbage. I use Lincoln wire personally, but I’m sure there are other good ones. The wire that came with it is actually pretty decent | |

I agree with not getting hobart wire. I dont know why it welds like crap in my welder, and like sloppy crap in my brothers welder. We both have lincoln welders. Lincoln wire is cheaper too. I think everyone should have a little 110 mig welder. Super handy.

Yes but that would come out. | Watch a few videos on Youtube. That's how I learned, and granted I'm not a good welder but it'll get you started.

| Something I see over and over.... @Doc Sprocket, @Doug just mentioned it in "Sprockets Garage" Facebook group recently. "watch the puddle not the arc". _______________________________________________ Li'l RED my original modified tractor!Forum Admin -- Chat Admin-- Facebook Page Admin ATLTF Facebook Page -- How To Upload PicturesHave a question? | The only way to learn how to weld is to actually do it. Only then will any advice or theory really make sense. | |

Hey that’s the same tractor my brother has. Different color though. To weld, I move the pool in a C shape. Picture a butt weld, you’ll want to move the puddle between 1/8 and 1/4 inch onto each piece. My mistake when I started was welding too narrow if that makes sense. I was following right along the seam and not going wide enough to really bite into the material. Play with the settings, practice, and you’ll do ok. Also, get some flap disks for your grinder to shine up the welding surface and make sure you clamp the ground to bare metal. You can grind with a hard disk, but a flap disk is way easier to get a consistent surface

| Some updates on my friend's Sears. He likes mutt's bumper so i made him one like it. Made a fuel tank out of a hazard fraught air compressor and replaced the broken plastic dash with one i made out of aluminum. | |

I'd be on more often but right now I'm trying to get my permit and I've got a LOT of school this year. I've been working on videos and a lot has been done around here but I just haven't had the time to post it. If I haven't really done too much updating by the end of November than everything will definitely be up to date by December. I'm lovin' that Sears Richie. Looks sick... Minus the mirror. I'm not a crazy fan of Sears but that's one I'd would drive. It at least has the right engine for it. Single cylinders and Sears don't mix for me.

| I'm not too big on the cold weather but ever since I got a 180 thermostat in my truck its been a lot more enjoyable to drive in the winter. Before I had a 160 in it and it wouldn't get warm till I got to school, Plus it runs a lot better when It can build up some heat. | |
