| So I guess I’ll start a thread for this since I plan on doing it more now that I have tons of Freetime. But anyways about a week ago I picked up a 2013 craftsman for $50 that just needed the solenoid put back on. Anyways I got it home and it turns out the main issue was that one of the fuse wires came unplugged so I plugged that in hooked the solenoid up and after putting the battery in it ran and mowed so I put it on marketplace and sold it for 600. Also when I went to get it the guy sold me an 80s gt18 for 50 but I’m gonna keep that one and sell the mtd. I plan on picking up 5 more tractors sometime this week so I can get them running and put them up for sale, there’s a few mtds but there’s also a ford and a John Deere Here’s the one I sold And here’s the one I’m gonna keep to replace the mtd garden tractor I have now Also if anyone has any tips for buying and selling these I’d greatly appreciate them | |

| Nice deal, good way to make some cash. That Craftsman GT is pretty cool too.
Mrshaft could probably give you some tips on selling tractors, he was moving them like crazy last year, haha. | Well, all I can say is, price them about $100 over what you want for them, that way the buyer can talk you down and feel good about the deal while you still got the price you originally wanted.
Option 2, price them at the price you want and just don't let anyone talk you down. Might take longer that way, but you might get more interest.
Anyway, good luck. I find buying and flipping quite fun. I like it a lot. I've got 4 for sale right now. Great way to make some extra money. It's where 90% of my tractor modding money comes from.

| i would try a small amount of gas down the throat and see if it tries to fire. if it does then problem inside the carb or possibly the solenoid that shuts off the main jet not functioning (bad or not getting power) if it still wont start on that shot of gas check the flywheel key to make sure it didn't shear. just some options if you haven't already done this. | |

| Yep. It should definitely fire if you throw a little gas down the carb. If it doesn't, like diddie said check your flywheel key.
Right now I'm guessing flywheel key even though I would normally say carb. You said it spits gas out the top of the carb... Well, depending on the amount of gas coming out, that points to the flywheel key.

| Welp I keep seeing this sitting around in my shed/workspace and I’m liking it more and more, so I’ve decided that I’m gonna part it out and keep the frame fenders hood and dash to use for the buildoff Mower | |
