Everyone has a pet peeve. Your sister chews with her mouth open, nobody cleans the little bit of ketchup that spills on the cap, your girlfriends laugh sounds like a donkey. But what about in the shop? A stranger walks in, and immediately does the one thing you absolutely hate.
Personally, its spitting on the floor. I cant stand it. You step in it and track it all over, and you might roll around in it so you either have to clean it or move your stuff. Seriously, use the garbage can.

Don't touch my dang tools without asking! Unless you are working on MY project with ME, MY tools are just that... Mine. I've seen too many people trying to use a socket wrench as a hammer, a good screwdriver as a prybar, or simply walking away with something never to be seen again.

Biggest pet peeve is when people move things around because they find it more convenient for themselves.

Dont mess with my tools. Big no no. But my thing is my shed. An i say shed cause it aint no big nice shop with concreat floors. Its a shed with dirt floor. Every body just thinks its a trash can i recon aint got alot of room for stuff so what iv got everybody wonts to pile there junk up on top of it. The worst thing i ever had is a buddy come over to see the progress on my off road tracter and just wipes it out right in the middle of my shed and starts peein in the floor. I could have strangled him. I made him hold it a walk somewhere else.

Another goodie resurrection!
I also agree with the tool thing and the spitting. But I go further and don't even spit in the trash. Do it outside!

My niece and her friends will bing their bikes in the shop and just tell me to fix them without even saying please, plus they'll walk through or run over whatever I have on the floor, be it a toolbox or open bearings or a tub of grease or an engine...pisses me off so much.

Don't touch my tools. they may be scattered everywhere, and there may be sockets and wrenches from one end of the shed to the other, but i know where everything is, so don't rearrange them, or organize them. If you move one, put it back where you found it. And my radio. Touch my radio and the consequences will be severe. Gotta have them tunes when i'm working

Hey uh bud. Wasn't I the one that dug your socket wrench out of the gravel under something as you yelled "THATS Where that went!!" That was you right? Or was that another friend. I forget. I thought that was you though...

If you ask me to do something for free, don't push... recognize that I'm doing it out of the goodness of my heart... if you want it done right now, pay someone to do it... or come bearing gifts... or at LEAST a good reason/story... SOMETHING to justify me dropping what I'm doing otherwise
