| Weeellll, my brother probably isn't gonna join this here forum... it's not really his thing I guess so I understand. He might change his mind one day but for now since I'm doing most of the work on it I'm gonna have a build thread for his new toy so I can show you guys the project! For those who dont know, this is what she looked like when we picked it up and after I put the engine in A mock up with the small rears on the front and my 21" ST's on the rear. We gotta get some wheel barrow rims or something to put the front tires on, but that's not too bad. And here she is with the rears mounted up! These original Goodyear turfs will probably end up on the back of the Rat Rod The tires that will go on the front of the Ford The 16 pony opposed twin fits in the engine bay quite nicely! Throttle cable long enough?? Hahaha. I think this thimg is gonna be a real cool build! We're hopefully getting a new starter for it soon and then we can try and fire the big mean oppy! Let me know what ya think! _______________________________________________ "This'll either wake you up or put you to sleep forever!"- Red Green "Whatever you do you should do right, even if it's something wrong." - Hank Hill - MTD Off-Road Build - Ford LT 110 Off-Road Build - Craftsman GT 6000 Off-Road Build - Allis B-110, 710 & 716 - Wheel Horse 655 & 953 - Case 444 - Bolens Versamatic & 1668 - Cub 106 & 124 - Ford LGT 125 & 145 - |

| Looks good! That cable is perfect length to do a foot throttle...lol. Make sure to put the side tins back on. Running without them is risky bidness, I've dropped a valve seat that way. You can get starters about $40 on ebay, at least in 'murca. Meanwhile if you still have the stock drive pulley for your MTD you should be able to use it for a pull start like I did on MUTT. Where's the gas tank? That's kinda important |

| Thanks Rich! Yeah that's exactly what I thought about the cable hahaha. We had the head tins and the blower shroud off to blow all the dirt and stuff outta the cooling fins, but we'll put them back on for sure. Carter is getting a starter through his job hopefully. And the fuel tank is probably going behind the engine where the battery would normally sit... hopefully hahaha.

| You know the stock exhaust actually doesn't look too bad in this case. Fits pretty nice along the frame like that. |

I agree with mr.moo, it does look decent. Maybe you could cut it open and cut the baffles out or something, thatd sound great I bet! |

| Yeah I agree with you guys, it doesnt look too bad at all. Especially like this; Hahaha. Anyway, I mocked up the fuel tank and the battery today to see how I'm gonna have to do things. Obviously not gonna work haha. What I'm probably gonna do it mount the battery in the original location, that way I dont have to lengthen the cables from the solenoid. Then I'm going to modify the fenders so that the fuel tank can sit just under the seat. Then I'll just have to get a long piece of fuel line to run to the carb. I would think the fuel pump would be strong enough to pull fuel that far. We'll have to see I guess!

| Yeah I figured. I gotta convince Garrett to let me leave that exhaust tip like that, I think it looks cool! | Yeah hahaha, I definitely didnt like the idea of it right up against the exhaust! I do like the exhaust, but I think my brother wants duals though haha.

| Having duals and them going into one. Them going into one sounds really good. Especially if they go into one big pipe. _______________________________________________ Li'l RED my original modified tractor!Forum Admin -- Chat Admin-- Facebook Page Admin ATLTF Facebook Page -- How To Upload PicturesHave a question? | Yeah a two into one would be cool, but he would like to have duals that turn into a triple tip pointing upwards just before the fenders. Should look kinda cool actually haha.
