| If i catch somebody doing that on a good engine I'd be likely to break their fingers Anyways i wanted into TSC for fuel line but a bunch of pulleys and hubs were on clearance so i picked one up for it. Makes my life a bit easier | |

| I have a 8hp honda with a thread crank I need to turn down to 3/4in. Ill probably end up taking it apart and doing it on the lathe... but I have to wonder if about bolting the engine down and using a stout cross slide to "lathe" the crank down as the engine is running. | |

| If you can indicate the crankshaft parallel to the lathe bed then it's probably doable. In theory | |

| Trying to get a hood on. I'm using the GT hood with a square hood Craftsman LT grille. At least that's the plan. My plans are always subject to change. I was gonna show off my new lathe in the talk about anything thread but mighty closed it just in time... -_- | |

| It occured to me that GT6K is a good name for this as I did swap a Kohler into it. Gonna change the name to that now.
Although it did come with a Kohler stock...
...eh, I still like GT6K better than the whole mark ii thing | |

| Grille is mounted. Can't use the original hinges, so I'm trying to make it hinge from the dash(that i have yet to build) | |

| Dash is partially mounted, I'm gonna wait til i get the hinges I'm using for the hood before i make it final. Turned a transfer punch out of a ⅜ boly to put in the steering shaft and hit the bottom of the dash to mark the center of the hole for it. Lathes are so nice to have. | |

| The transfer punch worked nice. Drilled the hole and filed it to compensate for the angle it's at. I think I'll flat mount this seat to the fender. Springs don't do much anyways. Sure doesn't look that overpowered, sorta innocent looking actually. Lol I think I'll shorten the steering shaft, i don't like how high the wheel is now | |

| Had to turn down some screws to work with the old cabinet hinges i found. Cabinet hinges themselves needed some modification but i don't think that's worth showing. Anyways the hood is hinged to the dash now. Opens easily and actually sticks open on it's own due to things not fitting right but we'll call that a feature lol. Also it turns out the little seat fits on the original seat mount so I just bolted it on there. I felt like i needed a tetanus shot sitting on the old one. Next: Shortening steering shaft, supporting dash, battery box needs to happen too. | |

| Looks good bub! I swear those dang pressure washers come in handy. I like em because the pipes are like 1 1/8 in diameter which makes good exhaust pipe. | |

| Steering wheel is shortened. A lathe is really an amazing tool to have, redrilling and tapping the steering wheel retainer hole was cake with it. | |
