Completely off topic but just as a heads up my honda gx has a 1 1/8 shaft so I ended up getting one of those split tapered deals. Didnt know if I was gonna like it but tbh I'd put them suckers on everything. Idk what ever works for you.

I got a pulley and hub from TSC for this one. I know those split taper ones are better but i haven't come across one yet so I haven't used one.

You just reminded me, I'm gonna gave to deal with the taper on the trans input shaft when i pulley swap it. Grr.

Oooof my honda came off a generator so the shaft was tapered so my dad machined a sleeve that would slide over the tapered shaft to make it straight. I'm sure you could do the same......maybe idk what those shafts look like.

I have a lathe, I'll just turn the the hub down and a pulley to match and zap it together with the big hot glue gun

Battery box is in, wiring i got with the engine needs some cleaning up but its all good. And i gotta mount the keyswitch.

So have you ever driven this thing? It looks like your getting pretty close.

Going to the scrapyard today(the one where i got those 820s) to find some parts for this thing big yeet

Got a steering wheel, a choke cable, and some exhaust tubing for this thing at the junkyard today.

Ran the welder out of gas. Got this far though

I think a cool heat shield is due for this exhaust. If only i had some expanded stainless or something. That would be awesome.

It doesn't sound great. Mostly because the carb is missing an O ring so it runs fat. It's not as loud as i thought it would be though. Will be nice with a resonation chamber.

Oooof I was hoping for something that shrieks....I guess it is just a lawnmower engine. The header looks good looks pretty slick running them together like that.

It'll sound better when i get the rebuild kit for the carb. Although all it needs is the one O ring around the jet. It'll rip then.

To bad you dont live close, my day works for a company that makes O rings. Let me tell ya he can talk you into tears about O rings.

What would cause this thing to run really fat, fire oddly, and just not run smoothly in general? It always starts super easy, on the first few turns, but it just doesn't run right. There's a missing O ring on a jet but I don't think that would cause a problem this severe. There's something weird going on with it.

Oh yeah and im working on a foot throttle. My friend gave me this cool one so I'm trying to use it.
