| Alright. 'Nother update. The front end is getting very bad... One wheel will be straight and the other is 30 degrees off. Not to mention the camber. Engine is still taking abuse, just waiting for it's day to come. Trans has somehow blew something somewhere besides the brake rotor and axle shaft seals to cause it to leak. Don't know what it is, don't care what it is. It'll be fine. Been workin it a little: This is when I was carrying a load of mulch. Where it was going was just over that hill. Thought I could climb it, but of course the wagon had to tip. Carrying a bunch of wood: Then it sat for about 5 days until I decided to fill up the tire that had popped off it's bead: Me rebeading my tire. (Didn't work that time. The next time it did.) Then I went and thrashed it racing against my brother's go kart. Pretty even race if it wasn't for the uneven ground. We weren't exactly on the same page about which way the track goes so that's why we kinda fly off different directions sometimes. The first race his motor shut off, so they're both kind of an invalid test. Race 1Race 2Then I did some REAL donuts! And then I filled my tire back up and drove an 8th mile up the road to get the mail, and when I got there, it was yet again off the bead. So I was limited to 1st gear on the way back. So yeah, the tires are done with life. Still a super fun machine to beat on though... (that is, when the tires are aired up.) | |

| We have too, but I'm not gonna spend any money on something that's going to the scrapyard anyway. I don't have a tube that would fit either. They're as bald as a door knob, so I'm not even gonna bother.
I think what I'm gonna do, is throw the old 18's off my brother's Murray on this one until I get some real tires. I really didn't want to go with 18's since they'll reduce speed, but it's the best option I've got.

| Well, went ahead and threw the 18's on. They look better, but yet worse. BUT, I've never seen these lose air ever. And I didn't know how thin my old ones were until now. These things don't take the shock out of the bumps like the old ones did. Gonna need to watch my frame for cracks now until I reinforce it. Anyways, the pressure washer was out so I decided to give 'er kwuick wash: That's better. | |

| Alright, I put a kink in the winch wire trying to pull the Wizard back in the garage before it could drive itself. Whatever. So, I got a school project where I had to kinda make an, "advertisement", for a chemical. I chose Nitrogen. I'm advertising NOS. So I already got it finished and it involves the MM. The salesman/acting on my part is a little cringy because, well I'm definitely no actor. But it's still funny. Why YOU Should Use NOS | |

Hahaha, no I don't even have a welder. I plan to get one as soon as I sell my Yard Machine though. Whatever welding you're referring to we're not mine. I had a fab shop do 60% of the welding on this tractor and me and my friend did the rest.

| Alright, I done a little cleaning to the 820 yesterday. Took the diff apart and cleaned everything in gasoline. Gonna get a gallon or 2 of diesel and clean the rest in that. Not sure if I wanna use this diff and work up a locker or just throw it out and put it in the parts bin. Can someone tell me what the diff carriers are made of? I think it's cast iron. If so, that could finish off any chance of using the diff. | |

| I know the side plates are cast iron, they machine nicely. Not sure on the main gear I didn't cut it. Why can't you use cast iron? You don't need to weld it to lock it. | |

| I know. I don't need to weld it to Doc lock it. But if I had it my way, I would weld them. I'll take 'em to a machine shop if I Doc lock it. Anyway, I got the gas pedal that I never said broke but did fixed. I think it came out a little bit better than the last time. It has a plastic "bearing" now so it's not metal to metal. It's also not held together with zip ties now! It has to get replaced when the Kohler goes on though. Now I'm just waiting on the Liquid Nail to dry. Tomorrow I'm gonna rip 'er around some. On another note, school is out about mid May. So on my free time after that point, I'm gonna work on it's 820 and Kohler. | |

| Guess who's the new beater... Getting exited yet? LOL. No I'm gonna try and make it last through the year. But as soon as Ol' Blue is done... The fun starts. The motor as you know is junk, but what made me decide to give up, beat the crap out of it and have as much fun as I can with it and not care if something breaks? Well... Not only did the steering column mounts in the rear break (As I knew they would), the front end is not dying because of bearings and bending drag links/spindles, the actual plate the entire front end mounts to is mangled from jumping it... The more toe out I get on the front wheels is the more the plate bends. The entire front axle is tilting forward and I can't replace the plate because it's welded on. So, the only logical thing to do is to give Ol' Blue an aftermarket front end and have fun ending the Mountain Murray's. Oh yeah, as you've seen in the BO thread, all of the rear end parts have been transferred to Ol' Blue. Well, I can't live without a rack for the time being, but without my square tube one on it anymore, what will I do about it? Heh, y'all won't like it much... Neither will I, but you gotta do what you gotta do. The MM will have a wooden rack by the end of the week. And an ugly one too. | |

| Ah yes, Murrays really are the best mowers. Almost makes me wish I kept mine Looks like it's time to go with a triangulated 4 link front axle with full power steering. | |

| Haha! Aside from the fact that it's lovely 1/8" steel, I honestly don't understand. I must be beating mine harder than Fearless.
4 link? Eh, your headed in the right direction... Not so sure about the full power steering though. Ever think about IFS?
Anyway, another thing I forgot to mention... Pulling the winch off, boy was that a job. I have 5 wires with forked ends that have to go on the battery end of the solenoid. And with my easily accessed location of the solenoid, it was a recipe for disaster. I had to quit and come back another day. Anyway, I finally got it and was able to put the tractor back together with all the electricals still working.

| Welp, school is pretty much out, so I'm startin to do some work on the ol' 820 and Kohler. The Kohler is still in it's box at the moment, but I'm gonna pull it out as soon as we get a new charger for the dremel so I can start on the head work. But in the meantime, I started cleaning up that disgusting 820. I have the gear sets soaking in diesel right now and the bottom case is filled with it as well. Not quite sure what to do about cleaning the cases, but it should take care of the gear sets. In total there's not much I can do right now besides clean it up and maybe slap some paint on there. But it's still progress... | |
