Little bit of fine tuning and I bet you can make that new nose look factree! I always hated the plastic fronts on those tractors, they look so cheap and flimsy.
Not for sure I have the skillset to make it look factory but ill try lol.

Nice, that's a cool steering wheel!
thanks - ill be curious as to how it really feels while driving. Not sure if the smaller diameter is a good or bad thing.

I would guess good, I put a smaller steering wheel on my tracked go kart, it was much better, gives you more room and you hands have to travel less. That being said, you also have less leverage, but with the steering ratio of a mower it should be fine.

I've done absolutely nothing with this as I've turned to some shop modifications so I can have some heat. Hope to be back on this next week. Nice little surprise came in the mail today

Seeing as how you're still basically at the start of this build maybe you'd like to consider holding up on building for the month and enter it into the Build Off in January? Just food for thought.

Ive thought about it. Especially because I've had delays. Lol. It's still pretty much a stock gt. Truthfully I should at least get it running and driving before I do anything.
Side note: FedEx showed up

@BairleaFarm what size are the front? Where did you get them and how much?
I get everything for everything off Amazon. The fronts were 80 shipped and rears were about 180 shipped. Everyone wants top dollar for used ones around here. Got tired of looking and decided just to get new.

Looks good! I hear ya on the rims, I’ve had those problems before.
Tractor supply has a sand blasting gun for 30 bucks, maybe that would help with adhesion? You wouldn’t need to strip all the old paint, just abrade it good.
Good looking tractor ! Looks killer with those meats on !
Thanks!

I didn't notice until they got back from the tire shop but the rears are mismatched. One has the valve stem on the backside one has it on the front. Guy said there was a lot of rust in one of the wheels so I assume the other rusted out at some point.

Apparently I have no concept of size. Idler are bigger than expected and drive pulley was measured outside to outside so my 5/8 belts won't work. I could switch to 1/2" Not sure the bigger than I thought idler will work either.
